About Me
I started this site in 2006 for fun and reconnection purposes ONLY. I gave up this site several years ago. Currently, I do not support of condone this site any longer and have nothing to do with its content, most of which I disagree with. Therefore, will rarely come here and have asked the moderators to delete me from their "all-mailing" lists.
My Interests
I am a self taught computer geek. I also enjoy real estate and stocks.
Employment or Career
I have been living in Tampa, FL since 1979. Like many of us back then, I started a window cleaning company to support myself. Over the years it grew into a company with over 60 employees and managers. I sold in 2006 to a large company and stayed on as Vice President for a while. In lieu of retirement I started another company called JR Services. I married Hope Harmon a 6th Corps alumnus, whom I love "with all my heart". We have two children.
Sports Teams I like
Tampa Bay Bucs Tampa Bay Lightening

Do you have a picture of the the plane flying over the Rock of Ages? If so, can you forward it so I can put it on my profile? I would really appreciate it.

I'm not responding to some of the blogs anymore. IMHO they don't meet the criteria for this site that you stated on Charlene's page.
" I just want to have a place where we can reconnect and have fun laughing at ourselves and embracing our lives as they are now in spite of where we have been and in spite of our differences of belief. I have always said this site is intended to be a celebration of the lives of some of the greatest people I have ever known".
I'm not "marking" them just "avoiding":-) Interesting that there weren't any of these IMHO negative blogs until Sept. 2008 when the economy crashed and it became apparent that Obama would be our next President.
On another note I did happen to check out John Lynn's page because I heard he left/fired (whatever the name of his organization is). I thought he might have updated his profile with a bit of an explanation like he did when he left TWI, he didn't. I checked out his blog and wondered why this was allowed a year ago but you asked Charlene to delete or close hers.
John Lynn said:
Yes, there was more doctrinal error than I ever realized while I was in TWI, and there was corresponding practical error that became more evil than most of us involved ever imagined. Yes, many precious people were terribly abused. Yes, there was dishonesty about Scripture, there was plagiarism, and there was rampant sexual sin, all of which contributed to many people choosing to turn away from God and His Word. And as I realized these things, I did speak out about them, both publicly and privately, from 1987 until about 2000, after which TWI had marginalized itself in Christendom.
Anyway, NUFFATHAT! John, if everyone left this site tomorrow it doesn't mean it was a failure. You set it up for people to reconnect and many people have. Number of people on the site or longevity doesn't indicate success as we both know from personal experience.
I dare you to post Sam Kinison's video or are you not an Alpha Dog? bow wow :-)
