Such a wonderful couple.
Erich and I bunked near each other 1st block, 1st year. To all the roomies amazement, 20 of us, this guy had a portable computer in a Footlocker. I kid you not. Took up all of the footlocker... circuit boards,,,,cables...other silver boxes and stuff all hooked up. And, a monitor. All inside the footlocker I believe. And, it all worked! The first portable computer, kinda'?
Then, we shared Trailer 6 at HQ our interim year- 6 of us in one half of a single wide.
I got handed the complete construction plans for the Fountain in Octoberish 1980, prepared that spring, and ran the first phase with Way Builders. Erich, meanwhile, was writing code, and programming his Apple computers for the pumps, and lights, and music. WOW!!. In and out of the Wierwille basement all day long it seemed at times.
Erich also insisted on Apple despite much higher ups insistence that he use DOS based. He stood his ground, convinced of Apple way back then, and Apple it was. Erich was a pioneer.
It was wonderful to know Erich. Rest in Peace.
And, Sally, I am glad you are still here, and that that your son still has his loving Mom- you. Love you. Rob

Kevin, how kind of you to drop by with those encouraging words. Yes, I believe the return of Christ is so very near. I remember thinking when I heard Dr. Wierwille often say, "live in light of the hope of His return" I would think, 'well, that won't be happening in my lifetime.' He was so right. Who would have thought we might be alive when He returns. God bless you and hi to you as well!
I haven't been to this site in a long time. I am saddened to hear of Erich and Marian's passing. But as we here know, "we sorrow not as others who have no hope". Oh, we most certainly have sorrow, but, not in the same way as others who have no hope. Rest in peace Marian and Erich, we'll all be together in the blink of an eye one day!
Thank you for posting, Sally. And Sally...Hi! Bless you!
