Ric Cox commented on John Richeson's video
"Gary, you're right.  I had a country band for about 6 years and felt my main job was to keep everyone turning down their amp.  I've never heard anyone tell even the best bands to turn up.  "

Ric Cox replied to John Richeson's discussion Closing The Way Corps Site
"I was raised in Corpus Christi.  It's actually the only city named for the body of Christ.  Texas is a great place.  I've lived all over the U.S. and always knew I would come back here.  There's simply something I like about the wide open spaces.…"

"Matt,
I agree with you.  The bond between some of us was like none other.  Recently, I went to Denver to visit my son with a Corps brother that wanted to visit a believer.  It was quite a road trip.  The believer had a car accident and had no car.…"

I was so hungry when I went in the 10th Corps that nothing else mattered. The bond I had with some of my Corps brothers and sisters at the tem was so much deeper than anything I ever had with my earthly family.  It meant so much to me to be…"

Thanks for posting the exerpts from Ephesians.  What a treasure!  The Adversary sure tried to bury what we learned and divide us.  He almost succeeded.  I'm thankful to still have Corps nights with a Corps brother and an AC grad…"

  • Hey Ric!  Thanks for liking the short piece on The Manifestation of the Spirit.  Hopefully, there will be others that will pursue researching the subject on their own and help us all understand what Paul is really communicating concerning the "evidence" of THE spirit.  Then, we can perfect our practice of our collective inner (esoteric) man.

  • Rick, sorry I must've not seen this note or Something, good to hear from you!

I'm wondering about your comment-" fresh air" do you remember what you meant by that?

  • Hi Ric, It is great to see all your b-day wishes to old corps mates. Good on u!.

Mine just passed Feb 8th. Turned 59. Whew made it this far. Ha!

I drop by this sight regularly. Check out my discussions. Love to hear your thoughts.

    See ya.

  • Rick...I'm surprised you trash DaVinci Code...Dan Brown's book was pretty awesome and I felt it had more truth than fiction.  The movie wasn't as good, but that's typical of movie/books.  What struck you about the movie?

  • Thanks for the encouragement.

    Blessed Wishes

  • Thanks brother. that sounds better than saying - another year older... ye ha

  • Hi Ric good to hear from you thanks for the birthday wish it was my birthday (Eddie) God bless you have a great day

  • Ric. I'm sorry I do not have a copy, But I'm sure Ted Ferrell does. You can contact him on this site or the face book site. Bless you brother, hope all thing are good with you. DB.

  • Hey Rick. No bother. The birthday postings are still there on the main page as always. They were just moved around a little because I wanted to add members who last visited in a prominent place. Look for birthdays on the right hand side about a quarter way down the page. It says "Birthdays Today"

  • Thanks, Rick. I'm never retiring! If I'm not working I'll be building something, volunteering, doing art, writing,...whatever. I never expected my parents to live to 93 & 84, but they're retired now and bored to tears. Life is all about taking care of them now, and the incredible life I have with my partner of 9 years. "I'd rather be ashes than dust." I refuse to rot. I'm going to try my hardest to go out in a burning flame! All the best to you! Tommy
