  • Hi Eva,

    Wow, you look so much like your mom. I knew Christine while living in Columbia, SC in 1984-85.  She only lived there one year, then returned to Ohio to be on staff.  She worked in an office as an executive assistant during that time and coordinate a home/fellowship with four other girls.

    I was deeply saddened and shocked when she died, as she had such a zest for life and contagious enthusiasm.  Christine was also very compassionate toward others and emotionally connected.  She loved to cook Italian food and have parties.

    I will try to find some pictures and forward them to you.  The easiest way to contact me is through email - sharon_laskowski@yahoo.com.

    God bless you, Eva.

  • Hi Eva,

    God bless. I have fond memories of your mom, as I am sure that you and so many others whose lives she touched will attest. Warm memories of beloved friends and family along with the Word of God provide the comfort that helps to sustain us in times of loss.

    I Corinthians 1:3-4

    Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

    Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

  • hi john yes I have found her page lol I just was wondering is there some where I can upload new profile picture? I can't find it on my mobile;)
  • I was in the 7th Corps with Christine, known as Christine Alleva at the time. She seemed like a very nice person. We lost touch over the years. I was saddened to hear of her passing.

    Here is a link to her page on this site

  • Hello Eva. Welcome to the Way Corps Site! It has been a lot of fun for many of us, even if only visiting once in a while. There are over 1,600 members. It is a good format for staying in touch and remembering some of our fun times in The Way Corps as this photo might illustrate.

    You will find a cross section of many people from many different Corps groups ranging from Way Corps 1 to Way Corps 40. There is a search feature that will allow you to find people easily. We have a lot of fun content to look over from or varied past.

    Here is an instructional video made by NING which gives you plenty of tips on using this site as a new member. And here is a welcome letter I wrote when I started this site some 5 years ago.

    I also made a Way Corps Site on Facebook. but FaceBook Groups are quite limited compared to the features on this site. Let me know if I can help you with anything or answer any questions. I hope you enjoy this site.
