  • Greg - I am so sorry for your loss of your beloved Christine, your loving partner for over 21 years. I remember her fondly from when we were in the 7th Corps together. Please stay in touch via this site when you can. There are many who love and support you here. We will always have Christine's page here as a fond remembrance of her along with the comments people left her.

Let me know if there is anything I can do for you. I hope we get to meet in person some day. Be strong in the lord. God bless you and your family.
  • To Christine and her loved ones, this is Jimmy from the Bronx. I new Christine well as we lived in the same building 3479 Seymour ave in the Bronx. She lived on the 2nd floor across from the Ramputis . We all went to Anthony Boglioles Twig together at Sal and Ida Dimuros house. As a young teen she was a Godly influence in my life. She could teach The Word with passion and clarity and the beauty of the love of Christ beamed from her. May she rest in the arms of our Father.
  • Rest in peace our wonderful Christine. Our sincerest condolences to her family and loved ones.

  • OMG! How are you? I mean you look great and sound great, but how are you? I hardly ever check on here, but found some spare time and decided to see who I might know since last visit. It is wonderful to see your beautiful face and hear you are doing well!
  • Christine,

What a delight to hear from you. I appreciate so much your kind words. You, likewise, were such a gentle, warm and caring individual. You look well, and your radiant face still reflects the goodness of God.

I apologize for not responding sooner. I received your message at the end of the school year. I taught science and language arts at a Christian middle school here in Columbus for the past year. Two days after the close of school, I was on my way to Los Cabos, Mexico for a short term mission trip with a team from my church. Four members of the team were teachers, and we worked with a Christian bi-lingual school, the only one in the region. It was a life-changing experience for me, witnessing the extreme contrast between the super rich and the poorest of the poor. Being surrounded by such devastating poverty can be overwhelming if you are not accustomed to it. Five years ago I spent some time in Senegal, West Africa and the Republic of South Africa. Both trips prepared me for the time I spent in Mexico. I celebrated my 66th birthday in Mexico, and I shared a brief teaching from the Bible solely in Spanish, which had been a heart's desire of mine going way back to those distant "Way days." I used to attend a "Twig" or "ramita" that Gary Curtis ran, and it was totally in Spanish--singing, praying, manifestations, and teaching. I guess that exposure impacted me much more than I realized at the time.

Christine, I seemed to have gotten carried away. I simply wanted to let you know that I too remember you. Although we did not spend a great deal of time together, I recall with fondness your being a genuine person who reflected the love of God.

This website has been such a blessing, in that it has allowed me to reconnect with so many people whose lives have intertwined with mine over the years. May God continue to bless you and your family.

    Sincerely,

    Lonnell
  • Christine, like I said in my note, I'm so thankful you and Greg are happy.
