  • It would be so good to find the Mortster. I just found a lost mother of a child I did an adoption for 21 yo in 8 days. Are you on facebook also? The story is there.
  • Hi Marian! I haven't been on here in a very very very long time. Sorry for my delayed response. My cat, Timber, is a Siberian... a lot like the Maine Coon, super smart, doglike personality, chirps to the birds... makes racoon noises, etc... I have his sister too... I need to update my profile and pictures on here one day soon. You were always such a blessing -- thank you for reaching out and for sending love and for being you. God bless you big. K.
  • Hi Marian, God blees you,
It has been a very long time but I see you are still the beautiful soul I knew in the Corps. Love always, Greg

  • Hey Marian,

How are you? I checked out your pictures -- I still look exactly like that today (uh, huh). Anyway, it's kind of fun to see the pictures. I hope you are doing well. My family is good. My kids will be graduating high school this year.

    Thanks for the note.
    Love,
    Leon
  • I loved those socks, that was one of the first things that made me take note that she probably was not like others I knew who were more mature. Boy was that an understatement! Gotta go I am taking a couple of classes at the local college. finals tonight. Love ya,
    frannie
  • Hope is a big Grateful Dead fan too.
  • Hey lady,
I finally got a picture up with my daughter. I'll get one of the boys added later. I came in from raking leaves and she took my picture and downloaded it. SHe takes about 1,000 pictures of herself each day!
  • Marian, I always loved you, you were a wild card and not very good at following the rules. I guess that is why we loved Doc Rawlins so much. She was one of a kind. I always enjoyed you too, werent those fun times at her house. I have the fondest memories of her and loved her asd my own mother. My mom didnt have funky socks though, do you remember those socks she had? Life is good, God is good and I pretty much dont give a shit about the rest. No time for self examination and legalism, enjoying my fellowship with God and the beleivers who are willing to let me love them. Thanks for your note, I do not check this sight very often so it was a blessing to see your face and remember how wonderful you were. Love ya
  • Well, the waterbed tale in Muenster (motto: "We're not really Gary Indiana") does make me think I did have dinner with your mom. Sorry that I was either so fuzzy then - or now!

And, as to one sided divorce tales, I was noticing that I had never - as a lawyer - ever been approached by the wrongdoer in a terrible marriage. It was always the one who got wronged that spoke to me. I was beginning to think my good luck was incredible when I started to think....maybe it is perception of the person talking.

As to the Mortster, WE HAVE TO FIND HIM!!! Heck, somewhere he may be making beautiful music in the Casbah.... but I won't ever be swept away in any romantic vision of the Mort because I remember the days when he used to walk around in his (not so) whitey tighties and ankle high boots as he was adjusting an errant string on the harpsichord. Music was never the same for me again after that.

    Papa Ter- Ter. OMG!!!

Rich and Patty seemed such a shame. You heard what I heard that Rich went to Chicago or Northern Indiana and Patti stayed at HQ, and maybe worked directly in Craig's office - but I may be mis-remembering.

How about Dave Stinson and Carol _________ (good bass player from the school of music)? Have you heard anything about them?

We should do a reunion of Bloomington people at Bloomington - or at east start a Bloomington group n this site.
  • One more thing...on Bill Morton. I heard from him like 12 - 15 years ago. He was living and building harpsicords in a suburb outside the city of..........PARIS. I went nuts. He said he could sell more harpsicords there and he liked going to the coffee shops when he wasn't working.
