About Me
I moved back to Los Angeles area in 1984 and about 2 years later married Gary Cendroski (11th Corp) who grew up in St. Louis but was in the Monterey Bay area and I moved there. Living here has been a mixed blessing. It is a beautiful place but it is cold, damp and foggy (I'm near the ocean) most of the time and the cost of living is very high and the pay - not so good - although Gary has a good job. The middle/working class struggles and we spent those many, many days volunteering with the Way, (until about 1988). For the most part we spent the first 8 years of our marriage saving money so we could have kids and have one of us actually be with them. We have two boys and I'm a stay-with-my-kids mom (my term for stay-at-home mom) and we live in a too-small condo that, thank God, we own. God (my Father) is good and I continue to have a real, loving relationship with Him which is the best part of life and life is good, but I'm looking forward to the new heavens and new earth.
My Interests
The Bible, civic stuff, fencing (although not active with it lately), art, jewelry, writing. home remodeling (getting our place ready to sell so we can buy a house), and teaching about God, His word and spiritual things.
Employment or Career
I started a jewelry company called "Heavenly Jewels" last year but due to some illness in the family I have not been able to do as much with it as I hoped. I want to get an etsy.com page up and running. I use mostly gemstones with sterling silver. So far people have liked my designd. I also have a real estate license that I don't use and I've been printed often in the "Letters to the Editor" newspaper section, plus I have one published article. I edited Gary's screenplays and we're going to write together some more, after the kids are a little older.
Music I Like
I mostly listen to Christian, just because the words are better for my mind, but I like all music, from classical on, but can't get into Rap at all and don't like Hip Hop much.
Books I Like
Lately I don't have except for reading books regarding my business and health issues.
Television I like
It's pretty evil, mostly, I think. And stupid. I don't like the "soap opera" type shows, although I do like "Hot in Cleveland" sometimes. I did like the original "Law and Order" sometimes, "House", "The Mentalist", "Castle", and "Sarah Connor Chronicles" when it was on. Also, I like "So you think you can Dance" and we're watching "America's Got Talent" sometimes. I like smart stuff from Britain: "As Time Goes By", I like Masterpiece Mystery, I like "The Office" sometimes - hey, that was originally British! I also just found out about "The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency" and I love, love it. If I had more time I would read the books that the series is based on.
Movies I like
"Amazing Grace" and "National Treasure-Book of Secrets", "Narnia - Prince Caspian", "Wall-e". I loved "The Blind Side". I love the classics.
Sports Teams I like
No favs - just like to watch soccer, baseball - all sports actually, every so often. I loved watching the World Cup soccor matches last year.

Great you are able to stay home with your kids. Bill and I had two, daughter Kelsey has graduated college and is an independent film maker. Son, Garrett is in first year of college and due home tonight. So glad you said hello, I found this site so late figured people didn't come here too often. Happy Easter "He is Risen" !
Please say hello to Gary for us, and all of God's best to you and your family each day!
In Christ,
John
I will check out Feldenkrais. I have never heard of it. We do cranial-sacro therapy, sensory work, interactive metronome and the vital links listening program. I am interested in anything new that might help kids though. We do a modulation method that has help a lot of kids who have difficulty with focus etc.
Haven't seen you in years. Good to see you are still around. Many memories of being in residence with you. We are busy raising our kids and having fun. Love to touch base.
Love You,
Dave Sullwold
