I can't find you on facebook. I may be easier to find. Try searching me.

Hope you have some car picks. My husband is into old cars. He is also a bee keeper and does a lot of woodworking. He is redoing our house one room at a time."

  • Springvale, like right next to Sanford, ME? WOW, that's really close to where we live! My oldest, Devin (20), is special ed. If I had any kind of meaningful degree, I'd be working in a related field too. As it is, I'm just the number one advocate for my number one son. My daughter, Olivia (19) is a freshman at the Univ. of Tampa; and my youngest, Jacob (12) is a math loving, guitar playing, mellow chunk of sixth grade love. I've spent the better part of the past 20+ years mothering and filling in with part-time work of one sort or another. I still haven't come up with an answer to the question ... "When I grow up, I'm gonna be a _________________." We just tapped our maple trees for the first time and made syrup this weekend. It took about 100 gallons of sap to make 2 gallons of syrup. Crazy, but fun!
  • Dear Crae--- Thanks for your kind words. How lovely to hear from you. The babes are gorgeous. I got such a laugh with your prompt about the woodpile incident. I vaguely :) remember now Larry's birthday and his futile attempt to metabolize quickly. Trading shots and holding my own? Musta been an alien. Ha..

Thinking of you both and sending you much aloha, Roz
  • Remember this? " God is so-o-o big and the Devil is so-o-o small! What are we gonna do? Stomp on him!!" (Lyssa circa 1981)
When I think of you, it's of an enormous heart, lots of uproarious laughter, Tab soda, salads, and Cracklin' Oat Bran cereal. Ain't it great?
Look forward to your call. Still "stompin' " after all these years...Love, Susan
  • Thanks!!! No, I haven't... I think I e-mailed her but haven't heard back (It's been awhile.) Do you have an e-mail address? (cause I'm not a 100% sure I did and we had to get a new computer...)
Thanks for the words of encouragement... they're always welcomed!!!
    Carolyn
  • hey... Yes!! I would love to talk very soon. lots of stuff going on for me as I'm sure it is for you. I'll try this afternoon, say around 3 my time... let's see if that works. Love you so much....
  • Crae, I think of you every time I look at the downey hair on my face! You told me it was beautiful one day in the Emporia kitchen, and I laugh when I think of it. Hope this finds you happy and healthy.
    much love,
    Marian
  • Hi Crae, you are beautiful too! Love your pics! :) Our children are all grown up (well, just about!), sometimes I didn't think they would make it. God is so good to us.

    love you always, Karen :)
  • Crae,

We live in Statesville, NC, which is about 45 minutes north of Charlotte. Karen does seamstress work out of our home. I have worked in libraries for nearly the entire time since 1980. Public Libraries have been a very interesting realm to learn. They are able to help people with reading, ideas, information, computer instruction, job searches, etc. At any rate, it would be great to see you if you are ever in the area. Do you come to NC on a periodic basis?

    John
  • Hi Crae, I have used the cranial-sacro therapy with both my boys when they were babies. I wish the public knew how the skull is impacted during the birth process and how cranial-sacro (and chiropractic) helps with colic. The other stuff you mention I've heard of, but I am not familar with. I am into anything except for things that are obviously "wuu wuu". I wish I could become a Feldenkrais practioner myself but I don't have the resources or the temperment! God Bless all people who have the patience to work with people's health. Cathy
  • Hi Crae, I have been meaning to email you about my oldest son, to get your feedback concerning him. We just put in new flooring and now we are painting - the work seems to never end - so tomorrow is another day. But I did want to ask if you have heard of FeldenKrais work? My friend, Jacqueline, is certified in the Anat Baniel Method based on Feldendrais' work. (anatbaniel.com or maybe it's anatbanielmethod.com) The work is amazing and my son has been helped by it. How great that you are working with kids. My prayer is that 2009 comes with some major breakthroughs in regards to autism, etc. Blessings, Cathy
