About Me

I went to college, undergraduate, in Rochester, New York at RIT and got a degree in Photographic Illustration in 1980. I lived in Sydney, Australia from 1974-75 and loved the weather so much that I moved to Los Angeles area after leaving the Way Corps. I was WOW in 1982-83 in Albuquerque, NM. My Interests

I love gardening. The property I live on has a tangerine tree, and a dwarf navel orange tree I have added 2 different kinds of avocado trees (Haas and a dwarf Fuerte), a nectarine tree and a black mission fig. During the summer I am growing cantaloupe and tomatoes. I still take pictures but now it's digitally. I have quite a few albums of photos on a Facebook's website. I also really enjoy painting dyes on silk. I have made many scarves, ties that are pre-printed and a camisole with butterflies on it.

Hi Betsy, I think I was in a twig with you your first year in residence, maybe I was the twig leader, I can't remember! I do remember you face and your wonderful smile and that you were a very nice, sweet person, wonderful to be around. I'll check out your website. I have started my own business and even though it's on the back burner now, I want to put more time into it soon. I make jewelry and plan on getting a webpage on etsy or some other site. I'm not on face book. My plate is too full with what I can handle to try and keep up with all the tech stuff. Slowly, I am beginning to move into survival mode and will try to get off the grid in the next few months. I do not like the direction of our country and world. Belize is beginning to look real nice.

Thanks so much for the belated birthday wish. Gotta say, I love the experiences I've survived and the Word I learned. But I do not get excited about getting older. Sometimes, conversations will come up about work and age and I tell people that when I grow up, I'm going to retire. The truth of it is that I've been stuck as a 17 yr old most of my life. So, if I haven't grown up by now, it may never happen.

Holy cow, I just took the time to look at your pictures. Now, I'm feeling old. Everyone I remember is still so young in the pic's.

I'll pray for your hip problem. I do suggest you take care of it before this summer if you need surgery. By July, you want to be healthy enough to handle the events that may occur. Google:wshtf.

BETSY!!!! How are you doing????? I have not scrolled through all the people in here in almost a year. I finally decided that was what I would do this month. So every night, I go through pages connecting with people from days gone by. How is your back???? A friend of mine just went through surgery for a similar pinched nerve in her back. She is doing great!!!! Hope you are, too!

Loved your pictures!!!! It was great to see Linda and Chris in there. Do you know where they are???? I don't remember their last names. My profile explains why.

Anyway, glad to see you are still around and kicking with the Bible in hand.

Hi Betsy, how are you doing? The last time we talked (a LONG time ago) you said you were having some physical problems. Did you ever find out what was wrong with you? I hope you are feeling lots better.

What have you been up to? Let me know. I had g-kids all summer long and then on their breaks from school and at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'll have them again at Spring break and thru the summer. Whew - I stay tired but they are such a joy.
