"Garland,
Wow, you remember a lot! I only remember the merce and gracey part. I can't imagine I was ever that wise. Most people don't know the power of merce and gracey. I take no credit for speaking to you in Swensen's. I was on an ice-cream high.…"

  • hi marilyn! you didn't offend me. love, eileen
  • haha....yeah, my husband is a lost cause. I stayed married to him cause I felt sorry for him...hehe....no really he makes me laugh every day...still!! Sure wish you guys were closer to us. We would have a ball. I am so jealous that you live in beautiful California. All I ever see up here is that nasty white stuff....7 months out of the year! It's taking it's toll on me! I yearn for heat! Can you send some my way? Stay in touch. :)
  • Hi y'all,
I tried to send you a private message but i think you have to accept me as a friend, I'll try again.
  • I've heard of the Gerson's yes, but I don't think I'm familiar with their juicing program. Are you on it? We'll see how much free time we have in San Simeon. I'd hate to get that close and not see you.
  • Victoria Hearst is Patty's sister. I don't believe Patty is born again yet. So, in other words, you're not around the corner from the castle. Bummer! Maybe something can still be worked out - would love you to see you guys!
My health has been challenging of late. I am struggling with extremely resistant high blood pressure. I am trying to do it the natural way - am believing to be totally healed.
    Love ya!
  • Hi Marilyn, You are soooo funny. I'm glad you haven't changed. Now about Bryce's bloating problem....just stick him with a pin and I think that should take care of it. Oh, I'm sure you are still pretty darn cute. Glad to hear from you. Love ya, mary
  • We are a comfortable day's drive from Hearst's Castle! We spent part of our honeymoon there but were not able to tour the castle because we missed the last tour of the day by a hair. But I have seen some pictures of it and it is spectacular. We did see some of the grounds and they were beautiful. I followed the Patty Hearst story when it happened and have read articles about her from time to time. I was shocked that she was ever punished and was so impressed that she turned out to be such a good soul. Did not know that she is born again and am thrilled. I will work on the pictures possibly today. Bye Lady Dancealot.
  • Hey,
How close are you to Hearst Castle? Patty Hearst's sister Victoria is a born again philanthropist, and when I told her that I would go back to Hearst Castle in a heartbeat, she invited our whole motorcycle chapter for a private tour. A bunch of us are going with her mid August. I want pictures!
  • Thanks for the reply. I'll share a big secret to my upbeat attitude. I live in Texas. Everything is tollerable here. Hardly any extremes unless it's the heat and for that we have rivers and pools and a beach. The 3 surgeries are real. I have scars and memories of the nurses to prove it.

During my interim year, I worked at a radio station in Bismark, ND. One day, I arrive back to the office at about 5:30 and my boss asked me how my day was and I moaned and groaned about how tough it was to sell advertising in Bismark. He asked me what the main objections were that I faced. I replied, "Everyone says the 'economy is bad'. Without hesitation, my boss said, "Bullshit! ! ! There's no such thing as a BAD economy! As long as you have one person in town with a need and another person with a supply, you have an economy!" That was an EYE OPENER for me!
I thought about it all the way home and when I got home this guy comes to fellowship and said he had a 'BAD' day. I replied, there's no such thing as a BAD day. Everyday the sun comes up and goes down the same. He disputed the perspective with me and I realized the key was in the vocabulary. He didn't have a BAD day but he did have a HARD day. I've adopted that thinking and it's worked for years. Even in the darkest moments and the most trying events, I just compartmentalize it and when I am removed from the situation it is as though nothing ever happened. Ignorance is not bliss if you don't know God. But ignorance is bliss if you want to ignore something.
  • I did write you back my friend. I've listened to several end-times experts and soooooooo many prophecies have come to pass already. Things are moving quickly, and it's very exciting. I am connected now to an apostolic/prophetic movement, and I love it. I am going to Dutch Sheets's conference on March 24th. Can't wait!
Love ya - sooooooo glad we've reconnected!!!!!!!!!!
