  • Hi Jan (& Chris) !  Been a long time since Marie and I talked with you . We lived so close to you guys for years, living in the Milwaukee area and never contacted you. We moved to the Austin Tx area 21 years ago, and only recently joined this website. Sure would like to reconnect.

Marie and I have talked about you guys for years and wondered how things were with you.

    love to you both!  John

  • Jan Happy New Years, tell Chris I said Howdy it's been a long time. Like 30 years!

    Blessings Romeo

  • Hi Jan! I don't remember Robert. Did he start out with the 10th corps? It's really sad that our brothers and sisters are falling asleep!

I see how you wrote about Dr. Rawlins. I really liked and respected her! I'm so thankful for all that we've been taught!

I trust that you and Chris are doing well!

It's another day closer to the return!!! At least I'll see you guys then!

    Much love! Donna

  • Hey Old Buddy Old Pal Jan,
At least we tried to make the best of every situation! Shall we say, we never lost our sense of humor or of the absurd! Remember the graveyard scolding by Richard Thomas?
    Tres Strange!
Don't know what took me so long to get on this site - Rob Agsten kept encouraged me for years to join, but quite frankly, I can barely keep up with my personal and business emails!
I was saddened to hear of Carolyn's passing - she was a great lady! She brought my niece Emily Stanford Stinnett into this world and now Emily is expecting her second daughter. Chris knew my brother, David - remember we lived just acrooss the state line in Illinois?
Last week I was talking to Marilyn Shirley on the phone and she was cruizing the way site and filling me in on the news, and so, I finally sat myself down and applied, and I am so glad that I did.
Now I have reconnected with you, Kevin Nye, Jeff Probasco, Rosanne O'Hara, Way Productions etc... Very Cool!
Yes, we did have some fun times, esp. when we were under the radar!!!! It was Spiritual Boot Camp and not always so spiritual! HA!
Love to Chris and to you too.

  • Thanks for your reply, Gail. Your daughter looks fabulous on that horse! You all sound like you are a happy bunch.

    Love, Marilyn
  • The other one that I remember was what your left hand and your pie had in common . . . they both had (My Rang) on it . . . Fun times!
  • I just saw your maiden name. I remember you very well also. Julie really liked you. I thought you were an amazing woman in those days. Chris did good. For more about my life and the amazing grace and mercy God has demonstrated, read my profile. It may entertain you both.
  • It was quite a remarkable thing for me to have the ability to remember it. I laugh now, but back then I remember checking plurality tables for shorts for the man. Being ultra conservative from Texas, I was shell shocked. That was the best year of my life.
  • It was an unforgettable year of service for all of us. Great to hear from you after all these years. If you ever get a chance to come to Sacramento please feel welcome to stop in or stay with us for a visit. Would be glad to visit with you. One of the things that come to mind on one of my trips to visit you gals was your joke (I guess it came from all the banking) . . . Hit the quarter, hit the dime, etc. you seemed so embarrassed telling that joke. . . Thanks for your note! Tim and Lynn McGuire
  • Anyway, great to see you in here. Hell, it's great to see anyone. You guys might enjoy looking at my profile.
