I have lived here for 30 years and never went to see a Space Shuttle launch. With only 2 left before they end the program, I thought it was time for me to cross this item off my "bucket list". Rosie and I had a great time. Being raised in KY, is was no problem for me to go through woods and underbrush all the way to the rivers edge and wade in to have an unobstructed view. (NASA would not have approved - sorry NASA) You cant get any closer than this without special tickets and connections or boat. It is a thrill to see it and hear it.
