  • Terri--one of these days I may just do photos, but I haven't done that much of it before. I do have a pair of Rockports now, but most of the time now I wear Keen Newports or Birkenstocks. I saw the Johnsons last weekend and they're doing very well. I'd seen them once about a year and half ago, but they live quite a few states a way.
  • Hi Terri,
Good to see you here. Remember me?
    Karin Paetkau
  • Ter-Ter would love to hear from you! His email address is: gibbs1086@buckeye-express.com
Your son Cory is just gorgeous, as are you, you livin' doll. I love you.
  • I am so thrilled to be able to reconnect with all of the people I have loved for so many years. You're right . . so much to catch up on, so many blessings, so much learning, so much time has gone by! Chris and I are in a good place in our lives. Amy is a sweetheart and a blessing to us (although she still IS a teenager . . . just wait . . . hang on for the ride! It's bumpy sometimes but loads of fun!) Love you, Jan (I'll be back in touch; running out the door right now!)
  • I love you too! I thought about you a lot at Doctor's funeral. It was a really fitting tribute to all the wonderfulness that was Doc. Terry Gibbs shared about her medical background, John Niesz shared about her fishing days with him, I shared about all the holidays at her house and her love of a merry heart. So email me, OK? marmeister2@bellsouth.net
  • Hey, Terri, Glad to see you are doing well. Jeff and I don't get on the site very often. Life is in session here and with an active 14 year old and 4 year old time moves on quickly. Always glad to see and hear all the Corps I know on the site and how they are growing and blessing and being blessed by God. All His best to you and your family. Deb McK
  • So sorry this is how you found out about Vanessa. She was such a gem, and I loved her so much. She took me under her wing my last year in residence then asked me to move in w/her and Gary when I graduated. Those two blessed me so much. It was a joy to get back together in 2003 in Arkansas, even if it was too short. It was like we'd never been apart, our friendship picked up where we left off and we enjoyed some sweet fellowship. She was awesome, and I will miss her very, very much.

Again, I'm sorry to be the bearer of this sad news, and REALLY looking forward to the Bema and our family reunion.
  • HI Terri, Thanks for your note several days ago. I am glad that you and Denny know each other. So sorry that our friend Jane is gone. Hard to believe. Meanwhile, your picture is really great and looks like you guys are loving life. Earlier you said that you were in touch with Hayward and Nancy C. and that she needed prayers for her health. Could you please send me their e-mail address if you are at liberty to do that. If not, please pass my greetings along to them and let them know they are in our prayers. Nancy was so important to my growth when I was first in the ministry and Hayward was a friend of mine from in residence times. Where do they live now days? Thanks a lot for helping keep connections alive. Maybe we will see you the next time we are in Seattle. That may be a while since we just visited in the summer of 07. All for now. Love, Elaine Landmark
  • Hi Terri, I would know that face anywhere. You look wonderful and truly blessed...it must be all that giving that keeps you receiving. Aren't you thankful for all we've learned from the Word over the years? Thank God we've had others to teach us. I can see that you are thankful! I think of something Rev. Rivenbark said about meekness. She said: "Meekness is based on thankfulness and thankfulness springs from the Word dwelling in you richly". I can see that that is happening in your life (it shows on your face).

I never really got to know you in residence, but certainly was aware of your presence. It's not too late to get to know each other better now if you'd like to. There are a lot of cool things I'm seeing in the Word now that I've finally decided to make it my own and not just try to get by on "great teachings" and what natural ability I may have". As Dr Wierwille said: "You'll never be convinced of the Word until you work it for your self". There's a lot of things that I've heard over the years that finally have great meaning to me. Well, better late then never. Eternity is a looooooooooooooong time. We might as well get ready for it!

    Love ya,
    Nate

PS A great book I'm reading now yo might enjoy is: Change your Brain Change Your Life by Daniel G. Amen, M.D. I think of Dr.'s statement the one of these days science is going to catch up to us. I find this true in many areas of this book. He shows how the mind works and then we can fill in what we need to do to help others with God's Word so they can really enjoy deliverance. You'll see that strange behavior is not always devil spirits, but can actually be something physically happening in your brain. He's a real expert in the area of A.D.D., (which I change the last "D" to "C" for Challenged, since I don't think it's wrong, or a disorder to have a mind that moves quickly. Once someone understands what's going on in there brain, they can take the necessary action to correct the patterns of thought that are not beneficial. In some cases I can see where medication is in order to help that person experience how the brain works best, then they can focus in on that correct way of thinking and build the Word in there for strength...cool book!!!
  • Hi Terri...its good to see your smiling face-you look great. I'm sure its the Word that keeps us young. I'm enjoying seeing old friends on this site and meeting new ones here in FL. Hey, you went LEAD with Kenny didn't you? That's what I remember, could be wrong...He's on the site also. God bless you richly!
