  Hey Steve!!! Your face was one of the first I saw on the site! Judy Burt pointed you out to me. We both said, "Oh Steve . . . " I just doesn't seem possible that all these years have passed. I can still see you sitting in Unit 7. How's Lynn? I loved your interests! Seeking fellowship with the Father is all there is. It puts the greatness in our lives.
  
  Lonnie is a contractor here in Nashville. Our son Sam (in the picture--our one and only) is 19 and works with his dad. We also have a few rental properties, which is our retirement plan. Of course I help with the books, marketing and stuff that they need. I'm also wedding cake designer. I just love it. I have always enjoyed having something I do that is ALL MINE. We have a wonderful fellowship in our home. We send teachings our weekly to believers around the country just to bless them. And, several times a year we travel to visit believers, teach and just bless them. Next week we are heading to Florida. Maybe some time if you pass through Nashville, you can visit with us. That would be fantastic. Oh, and I just love what you said about Lynn--you dog you!! lol Say hi to her for me!

  Thank you for the note. This is like old home week...hearing from people we spent so many years with. Glad to see you are practicing law...and in NC. I am in the Raleigh area often, as my sister lives near and my niece lives in Raleigh and is a Pharmacist for CVS. How is the real estate in that area now? Great to hear from you. Keep seeking!   I was blessed to see you on the list and that you and Lynn are still married. We have been in Colorado, Denver for over the last 10 years,. It has been a great thing to have this list happen as I still believe that those years in the Way Corps should have built foundations for friendships that can last a lifetime. And here we are almost 27 years later still alive and well and heaven bound.

  yo darling....I'm doing great. I was just in Raleigh this past weekend playing with Kerr. Went and had lunch with the Kings on Sat. Ronnie Sink was in for the game and they were kind enough to let me crash the party and steal a burger before they ran to the game. It was so much fun. Send me your # and I'll call on my next trip in. I feel half the corps is either in or passing through Raleigh. I see Belinda Wilson is on your friends list. I have known her since 75 when she was in Donald's and my fellowship in Lenoir. We all certainly are a part of the 6 degrees of separation. By the way, you have certainly kept your looks. I'm sure Lyn agrees. Glad you are doing well.

  Y'know, the thing about offspring is it's difficult to tell how they're gonna turn out. Sonora is anything but a chip off the old block, she's the opposite. If you only knew me before I got in the Word (1980) I was a coke dealer hell bent on not making it to my 21st birthday, and taking my ole man with me, and I started that mentality at age 11 when I started with drugs. My daughter on the other hand is pure and sweet and all that is good. I don't get it but I'm thankful, and I am a good influence on her. Incidentally, I got witnessed to 3 months before my 21st birthday, so despite the fact that he's not a believer, my old man is still around too, and we're pretty civil at that.

  I blessed to know you and Lyn are doing so well. Nashville isn't Callifornia but it is a great place to live. But on a nice day here it can feel like California without the beach.

  Hi Steve, who knew it could be so easy making friends!
  I am truly enjoying myself with this web page and becoming reconnected to some of the people who've had an impact on my life. Of course Wally and Bea were our Assistant Corps Coordinators in the 16th, and Beatrice always seemed to have a kind word for me despite myself most times (seems I was a little rough around the edges), Wally was always pretty cheerful, but he didn't pull any punches either, I think those two were definitely tapped in to the real deal in my eyes anyways. I t would be cool to connect with them on level ground.
