About Me
I'll turn 58 in May of 2015. Remarried to Aimee. Find me at facebook.com/skingsley
My Interests
I still dabble in art as time allows. I'm a fan of Richard Schmid, one of the greatest oil painters in the world.
Employment or Career
Serving as a full time pastor of two rural churches. Clergy with the United Methodist Church. I do some national voiceover work. I have sold a few original oil paintings and have a series of prints. One painting, called "Of Heavenly Things" features an open Bible on a silver platter (sound familiar?). Check out my photos to see it. The print is an open edition and measures 8"X10" and it would be joy to send one to you as a gift. Just ask.
Music I Like
I listen to Christmas music year round. Love Cello music. Also, old country music stuff like Jim Reeves, Ray Price, Marty Robbins, etc.
Books I Like
Books on Christian apologetics. Robert Ludlum novels for fun. Various biographies.
Television I like
House. Fox News. Fringe is fun. And Letterman when I'm trying to fall asleep.
Movies I like
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Reminds of hitch hiking across country to get to LEAD.
Sports Teams I like
Forever a hopeful Cubs fan.

Previously to going into the corps, and before my apprentice year, I lived in NC for 2 years. The first year I assisted the gal who did the limb bookstore, and then she left the area, and I took over. I was in charge of it at the limb and borrowed a friends car and drove to different areas in the state to make available the bookstore at classes and events.
There was some big event we went to in VA Beach, weekend in the word or some such thing, and Mrs. Allen came with the bookstore there, I was able to help her and those she brought with her, set it up.
For quite a few years after that I worked the bookstore at the Rock.
I also helped start a research project that I think it was Bill Mitchell? was spearheading. I never heard whether they ever finished it.
Where were you on your interim year?
Marsha
If I didn't say so before, I hope you and your family had a good holiday season also.
Marsha
great to hear from you - sorry for the delay in the return! after the initial flurry of activity, have not checked this site as often. God bless you for the work you are doing - would love to chat sometime...and not too late at 50 - I found it very stimulating to get my MA.
I will be in touch again and we can discuss the change process - I learned a great deal out of necessity - I needed a lot of work if I was every going to help anyone else! God bless you, brother, will be in touch, Michael
I see you have it as one of your groups, but I looked at that page and didn't see your pic on it.
Hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and Holiday season.

I remember well the four deers and it was the fourth one that was hit. We tried to find it and finally called someone to go help find it while we went on to the movies. Good to hear from you and know you are well. God Bless Belinda
Doesn't your youngest get mixed up with Sir Ben Kingsley. Maybe that is why you call him Benny, so there is no confusion. On the subject of the Unit, i've liked it from the first show, yet I see it deviating into more of a soapy show with more messed up relationships. They should keep more to their work. for me that is the exciting part. Also one my favorite characters was killed off this year. I guess I'll have to go with Kul Breeze since that used to be my nickname in Residence.
I like the print. I'll contact you re one...

Good to see you here. Are you from Idaho? Have you been there since graduation? Someone that was in my first wow team was from Boise, but I'm not sure that I remember his name correctly. I think it was Mackey (possibly a nickname) McGee.
God Bless,
MArsha

Four sons!! What a blessing. Are you in a rural area of Idaho? I hear it's gorgeous and have never been there.
This has been a fun reunion site and quite a joy. Love, Debra
