Ric Cox commented on John Richeson's video
"Gary, you're right.  I had a country band for about 6 years and felt my main job was to keep everyone turning down their amp.  I've never heard anyone tell even the best bands to turn up.  "

Ric Cox replied to John Richeson's discussion In Loving Memory of Ted Ferrell

Ric Cox replied to John Richeson's discussion Closing The Way Corps Site
"I was raised in Corpus Christi.  It's actually the only city named for the body of Christ.  Texas is a great place.  I've lived all over the U.S. and always knew I would come back here.  There's simply something I like about the wide open spaces.…"

I agree with you.  The bond between some of us was like none other.  Recently, I went to Denver to visit my son with a Corps brother that wanted to visit a believer.  It was quite a road trip.  The believer had a car accident and had no car.…"

  • When I woke up this morning, I felt a year older. Sure enough, when I looked on my profile it said that I was 57. Man, that's old! Retire? I don't think so. I like my job too much. When I was in Corpus Christie I used to see old men cleaning windows. So I figured that it must be easy. Well, it's an easy job but somebody has to do it. Hey, I'm up in Fair Oaks and Boerne all the time. Give me a call sometime. God bless, Les

  • Instead of what? A comedian? No, I became an optician because of the way it enables me to help people - the incredible job security is a good benefit too.

Glad to see you survived the ordeal with your tumor. It must have been scary as s--t.
I've been living with my partner of 28 years in Willis, Texas - about 60 miles North of Houston. No children. We're looking to adopt two felines soon, though.

What are some names of Texas bands you like. I am a music freak and would like to check out some new music.

    Thanks for reaching out.
  • Thanks for BDay wishes. Don't think I could ever retire. Work is too much fun.
