Ric Cox commented on John Richeson's video
"Gary, you're right.  I had a country band for about 6 years and felt my main job was to keep everyone turning down their amp.  I've never heard anyone tell even the best bands to turn up.  "

"  ROA 84 was my interim year.  I was going to spend it in Bismark, ND as a Twig Area Coordinator.  It was that May in 1985 that Dr. died. Everything began changing until finally, it went to hell in a handbasket when POP was read on the last Corps…"

Ric Cox replied to John Richeson's discussion In Loving Memory of Ted Ferrell
"I am thankful to have observed this great entertainer.  Ted was a soft-hearted man with a huge heart to give. I once sent him an email requesting some songs from Way Productions.  He sent me all the Joyful Noise songs in a CD format.  I called him…"

Ric Cox replied to John Richeson's discussion Closing The Way Corps Site
"I was raised in Corpus Christi.  It's actually the only city named for the body of Christ.  Texas is a great place.  I've lived all over the U.S. and always knew I would come back here.  There's simply something I like about the wide open spaces.…"

Ric Cox replied to John Richeson's discussion Closing The Way Corps Site
"Matt,
I agree with you.  The bond between some of us was like none other.  Recently, I went to Denver to visit my son with a Corps brother that wanted to visit a believer.  It was quite a road trip.  The believer had a car accident and had no car.…"

Ric Cox replied to John Richeson's discussion Closing The Way Corps Site

I was so hungry when I went in the 10th Corps that nothing else mattered. The bond I had with some of my Corps brothers and sisters at the tem was so much deeper than anything I ever had with my earthly family.  It meant so much to me to be…"

Thanks for posting the exerpts from Ephesians.  What a treasure!  The Adversary sure tried to bury what we learned and divide us.  He almost succeeded.  I'm thankful to still have Corps nights with a Corps brother and an AC grad…"

  • We have two daughters. Luane and Sydney. Luane just went out Way Disciple this year. We moved up here 2003 and have loved it. Well, except for the snow LOL. Last year we had 116 inches of that crap, but I finally got a nice two stage snow blower. I can clear the drive way in about 45 min now instead of the 2 hours it used to take by hand. As you can guess, I was so happy to get that blower. Yes, I read your bio. Glad to see you doing well. I am going to get Linda signed up here and she will drop you a line too. It is great to see ya bro!
  • Ric, God bless you man. Linda and I are now in Maine as the State Coordinators. Think of you often and have been wonder how you were doing. Good to see you are on here.
  • Ric - Haven't listened to the songs yet - I think I'm doing well just getting on here and facebook once in awhile and catching up with folks. Technologically challenged. Thanks for the invite - haven't been to Texas since, yes, Lead and everyone says that doesn't count. Who knows? If the Lord tarries I hope to do a little traveling. Right now with three teenagers in the house I'm just trying to keep ahead of the grocery bills! Ha
  • Hey Ric you goofball! How could I ever forget you?? You drove me nuts in all the most wonderful ways ha ha. Hope life is treating you well. God Bless You. This website is awesome and I am so blessed to see everyone and what they're doing. Until Christ returns, here we all are......
  • I had to laugh out loud over your comment on the shorts Chris wore in residence! I had completely forgotten about those short shorts but truly got a kick in the pants from your memory of them! Believe me, neither he nor I wear any short shorts these days!
  • Funny you should say that. Greg has mellowed out over the years. too intense, now everyone enjoys the heck out of his humor and getting them to relax. I guess we all realize that balance. Good to hear from you. Lynne
  • Ric,
Good to hear from you. We have been settled in Nashua for 18 years now. Time sure has moved on. I think of many folks. Call if you want 603-886-1738.

    Robert
  • Hey Ric,
I live right down the street from you. Stop by sometime. It would be good to see you. I remember catching a ride with you up to Austin about 30 years ago. You had a little Volkswagon. That's about all I remember. Anyway, give me a call or send me a note. God Bless, Les
  • Hey Ric,

I don't go to this site too often but I noticed you left me a comment a while back. Great to hear from you and see your face! Glenn and I don't run together anymore. He still runs a lot, but I can't keep up with him any better today than I could in 1979. We do breakfast about once a week and remain best buds.

Do you see and fellowship with Houk and Sheila? Houk and I had a blast together for a couple of weeks in March along with George Cumella, Jean Louie Ricard, Bob Gassman and Sangat Bains. It was like old 10th Corps times.

I'm planning on being down in the Houston area next May for a weekend of God's Word and music. You and your guitar are hopefully going to be there.

If you want to talk, call me at 312-961-6490. In the meantime, I'm doing "shuntas" for you and yours.

    God bless you brother.
