We've gotten hooked on LOST

About Me

Married Cathy Sinkking (WC14) in 1988 at HQ and moved to Rockledge FL for four years. Our first two children, Ryan and Dillon were born there until we moved back on staff at HQ from 1994 until 1999. During that time we had our third son, Conner. I sang in the Chorus Choir (see My Music - The Stability of Our Times) and worked in Computer Services. We moved back to FL in 1999 where we now live. We left The Way in 2000 and have continued to enjoy our friends and family that will have us.

Employment or Career

Now retired as of April 2021. Previously Director Information Services at Osceola County School District, FL. My department has 30 people, which includes 12 application programmers. My department is responsible for all the back-end business software (Finance, Payroll, etc.) as well as custom application programming for the web and the IBM iSeries system operations. We also support the student database and related systems for the school district. Also under my department are email, GIS and transporatation applications, and district records.

Many kinds - rock, easy listening, clasical, depends on my mood.

Hey, yeah I wish member number would be visible so we could boast about being in the early days, the good old days way back last October when we first went into the Way Corps site.
Sould we wear virtual name tags? Thanks for virtual witnessing. How does one SIT virtually?

Hello member number 5. This got a little bigger than I expected. Go figure! Your videos are the best. I know of know one else who has done this. Thank God you did. I am in the process of converting the old ROA 1971 VHS tape to DVD and will post some clips when I get it. It is so fun to watch. Hope all is well with the family. Give them my love.

Randy, I do remember you from residence, and I did know that you and Cathy had married. She and I have communicated since I first came on this site. We had fun together when we ran childrens fellowship at HQ for the 4-5 year olds, they called her Mrs Sink and me Mr Muhmuhmuh. What a riot that was - I remember the first time we had to take 11 4 year old boys to the bathroom and how they were body slamming eachother, and pee was flying and she and I were loking at eachother in horror and despair, and the person whose place we were taking told us that we could actually jump in and tell the kids what to do. I think we were most perplexed at having to tell kids how to pee 'nicely' - most of the people we associated seemed to already have that part of life down pat... It's different when you have your own kids - I could tell anyone how best to pee!! Yeah, Cathy and I had a lot of fun that year.
