  • Hi John, This is Cathy Cendroski and I was wondering if a forum sharing stories about all the great stuff God has done and is doing for us would be a blessing?
  • Hi John. We don't know each other, but thank you from my wife and myself for starting up this site. As you probably know by now, God was surely whispering in your ear. --- Gary
  • Hi John,

It has been a while since I left a comment or note for you so I thought I should be sociable and drop a note. We have survived the flood of 2008 (at least so far) though it would not be fair to say we have not been impacted. The whole community has been affected by the utter devastation. A good place for updates and pictures is the local newspaper's site, www.gazetteonline.com.

Anyway - the REAL reason I was thinking of you was that I just found the member map on The Way Corps site and put our location in. And if I can do it anyone can do it. I bet a lot of the members might not know it is there (even if it hasv been previously mentioned). Hope your vacation was good - and that you and your family are well.

Thanks again for the site - I have re-connected with some old lost friends and it is very gratifying!

    Mike
  • John, if you and Hope would like to stay at our house during Stockemer's party, you are welcome. We live in Eastborough, which is an old established community within the city limits of Wichita. We'd be happy to pick you up at the airport, etc.

    When is it? Glenda Sue
  • Hi John,
Thanks for setting up this site. I don't know if you keep it positive somehow, or if that's just the way it is with all those who have joined so far, but it's great.
My window cleaning business is more than just me, but nothing compared to what you did with your's. I was always satisfied with enough to live on. As I get older, though, I realize I've got to do something to get beyond month to month needs; so I would love to have any input you would like to share with me about what you did. My biggest problem has been having decent, honest personell. My system makes it too easy for them to steal from me etc.
I have a number of Corps friends I want to invite to the site and will. Frankly, I was scoping it out first before recommending it. I have a lot to learn about how to use this site, but I will definately recommend it to others.
    Thanks again. Ken B.
  • John,
My compliments to you and Steve for helping to keep this site a loving and safe place for loving and kind re-connections with those we loved but didn't know where they were and how they are. The last time we spoke, we were discussing the possibilities of participants reaching 1000 persons and possibly endeavoring to test the waters for a "reunion" without "agendas." (no schedules / meetings, etc........ In other words a bunch of folks getting together in Las Vegas or elsewhere for fun and frolic and of course more importantly, fellowship with our brothers and sisters packed full of fun and adventure. Maybe "charter" some large "cruisers" on Lake Mead. How about a reunion on a "cruise ship" in the Carribbean or off the east or west coast? Wouldn't that be just heavenly?! Or maybe something that is affordable for all.
Of course, that sort of thing may never happen, but who knows?
    It doesn't hurt to dream...

    Love you man!
    George
  • Hi John, Thanks for your note. This website seems to be a great blessing, so thanks for all your wonderful efforts for us!
Glad to hear you're thriving down south. Lawrence and I have been outside Boston for about 21 years; 3 children, from 24-19: Victoria, Bo, and Janelle. I may get around to adding pictures before too long! Your girls are pretty.
    Love to you and Hope,
    Barrie
  • Hi John. It took me long enough to join. It was my niece, Kellie, who encouraged me to do so. I need help to figure out how to make it my own and add things. You are classy having music play as I write a comment. That is really cool. Anyway, I am planning to go to Tipp City in August. Just depends on timing. Andrew, our oldest, returns from Kenya early August. The date is not set in stone yet so I can't say for positive. I will give Lloyd your regards and encourage him to join. We might need two computers if he does as I will probably be on the computer more than usual.

    Love you.
  • Congratulations!!! We have reached the 1000 member. On October 4th, 2007 - ONLY EIGHT MONTHS AGO - I became the 3th member -God is GOOD: Thanks John for ALL. Keep me in your prayers.

  • Just a quire hello John. Hope you're having a good day. I am relaxing today, which usually means not doing chores I don't want to do and just messing around doing stuff that I want to do...eg reading the paper, playing the piano, messing around on the computer, hanging out with the kids and the cats, watching my wife do laundry : ) sometimes I help! Just rambling and . . . oh, now I remember what I wanted to say . . . . the site is approaching the 1,000 member mark! What are we going to do?
