"Laurie? Laurie Jamieson? WOW! What have I been up to? Well, I work at Sam's club in the cafe, I live with my partner (28 years together) on Lake Conroe in Willis, Texas (lived here going on 11 years). Life is good. I am happy. And you? How about…"
"Darlene:
First off I must ask you, how could there POSSIBLY be more than one Prentiss Jones? Yess, I'm from Rochester, NY (Pittsfors to be exact). I don't remember the trip back to Roch. in a car with no muffler and no diapers for the child (was…"
"Kevin,
I've no memory of the blow dryer. And I haven't used one for years and years.
What happened to Pat Rufino and when?
Yeah, I am from Rochester, NY. I've lived in Texas for nearly 35 years.
Take care."
"Instead of what? A comedian? No, I became an optician because of the way it enables me to help people - the incredible job security is a good benefit too.
Glad to see you survived the ordeal with your tumor. It must have been scary as s--t.
I've…"
Yep, it is Laurie Jamieson, I was hoping that you remembered me! We go along...way back. Mike is here visiting me right now in Columbus OH where I have lived for 22 years. I will get his contact info and let you know(i'm at work right now). I have 3 grown kids, 2 of which are married. I am a grandmother of two and Mike is a grandfather of 3. He still lives in Rochester and believe it or not, still works at Kodak. I am also happy, working with a lobbying group for Ohio Public Employees. I am glad to hear that you are happy and well. Love, Laurie
Well, we called your peat coat a pee coat afterwards. Does that ring a bell? I am living in MD. I have 4 kids and husband Michael. We just returned from seattle where our 2nd daughter got married. She manages an organic farm. I have a cleaning business and substitute teach.
Dear Prentiss how quickly you forget ! lol. We returned from ROA in 72 with John and cindy Paulukowitz and their children. The muffler fell off and we spent the night in a gas station to get it repaired. They had no money left to buy diapers. They ran out and we were riding in the back seat trying to protect ourselves from getting peepeed on. It was so crazy we laughed about it for weeks. What is the warrior thing?
Are you Prentiss Jones originally from Rochester, NY area? I am Darlene (Schulz) Allinder. Did you ever ride back in a car from the ROA with a child who was out of diapers and in a car with no muffler?
Hey Prentiss,
It is good to hear from you. Linda and I stay busy with our jobs and oversee a Bible fellowhip in Roanoke, VA. I thought about you the other day when I heard the song "Natural Woman". I liked your rendition of "Spiritual Man". God bless you.
Hi, Prentiss! So cool to see you on here. I remember some fun times on the piano in Rochester and your beautiful home in Pittsford....didn't we have a class with Walter Cummins there? Are you in touch with Mike & Jane Tomberlin? If not, I can send you their e-mail address. My brother (Ron Webster) is also on this site...and we're on FaceBook, too. My info is on my page here...having fun teaching piano and voice lessons. God bless you! Myrna
Looks like you have already know something about what you can do with your profile page on this site - I like your colour scheme - very snazzy! Here's some more standard info that I usually send when people first join up... just in case you need to know! :-)
This site is great fun. You can catch up with old friends and find out what they've been doing. There are pictures and photos to see, ideas to share, and music to listen to.
Go ahead and click on some of the TABS just under the Way Corps header picture at the top - to start finding out what is happening here and what you can do. If you click on the "Help and Tips" tab, you will find a basic guide to navigating our site and you'll see how to connect with old friends, customize your page and lots more.
On your profile, please include as much as you like about yourself. You can add more details, or change and delete information later.
Many members have posted pictures of their children and families, as well as their hobbies and interests. Perhaps you have some photos you'd like to share too.
As you look around, you may have a few questions. There are answers in the "Help and Tips"section.
If you get stuck, please feel free to contact me or John (site originator) or any other members who have been here a while. I will be glad to help if I can. Just send me a message.
Here is a welcome letter from John Richeson who started this site a few years ago.
Welcome, it's good to have you here. Enjoy yourself!
