  • Hey Darlene,

That was my nickname back in the day.... still is when I get back to see family in MD.  I do remember you well!  I'm currently living in Raleigh, NC with my wife of 29 years (Cathy Aszman, 10th Corps).  We have a fellowship in our home and do our best to stay faithful to the Word we were taught.  I have many wonderful memories of all you girls as WOW's in MD!

  • Yes, Darlene I did live in Baltimore from around 1982 until 89. I sure do remember your name just not the face or how we met. Please enlighten me.

    Dahni

  • Hey Darlene, It's great to hear from you. This is Tammy. Yes the Luciano tribe is quite full. Heather is 32 now and has a son, Elijah, who is 11. They both live with us now. Joey is 29. He also is home but is preparing to go to Bible College. Jimmy was born during our last year on the field and is now 25. He graduated from Ithaca College and is still living there. Jesse is 22 and attending the local Junior College while living home. And my baby is Holly. She is 20 and a freshman at the University at Buffalo on a full scholarship for softball. We live in Toms River, NJ home of the Jersey Shore. This is where Joe and I grew up. We aren't very far from each other actually. Be blessed!! Tammy Luciano

  • ...another forgotten life experience. I sort of vaguely remember......

New Warrior Training Adventure is a fabulous training weekend for men (you can read about it at http://mankindproject.org/new-warrior-training-adventure) is an experiential weekend for men sponsored by the ManKind Project - an international men's organization. I've been involved since 1994. It's the first place EVER where I was accepted just for who I am.
I live with my partner of 28 years, David, on lake Conroe in Willis, TX.
I am a cafe associate at Sam's Club in Shenandoah, TX.
    and you?
  • Darlene:
First off I must ask you, how could there POSSIBLY be more than one Prentiss Jones? Yess, I'm from Rochester, NY (Pittsfors to be exact). I don't remember the trip back to Roch. in a car with no muffler and no diapers for the child (was that one of John and Cyndi Pawlukiewicz's children?)
    Prentiss
  • Darlene I love you. You are the coolest really!!!!! Melanie Davis Dands
  • Darlene, You have the right heart for God's Word. when He said that He magnified His Word above His Name that was a hint to us about how important the Word of God is. My question to John was rhetorical because the answer is clearly in the verse. Their was a question about a reference that I made to "A Heavenly Kingdom of Many Nations". This is clearly depicted in Revelations and it simply became an item of discussion. Nothing major.

I have also learned to submit to what the scriptures say as well. The most striking change was about 13 yeas ago when I read Acts 2:38, Acts 19:1-7 & Romans 10:9 all together. Contained within these scriptures is a five part equation for salvation. Take a look and tell me what you think. Most churches own one or two of the three portions of scripture but not all three as they should.

I look forward to your response.

    God Bless,

    Lester
  • Darlene--so you're a night owl, huh? Now I do remember you going WOW--do you recall Branch meetings at the Sea Breeze Firehall (w/ wagon wheel/lights and the "bar" in back?? We ran a couple PFAL classes there and had a steak dinner also. I was involved w/ a men's way home near East High in the city. We rented one of Ed Cole's property's.And I remember you bringing new people to those branch meetings, right? Remember Prentiss Jones playing piano? As for Steve Wahl, I think he just mistrusted the Way, nothing personal--he just put everything about the Way behind him.
