"Sounds good. Will do John.
I don't count those years as a failure - I learned so much. Doesn't matter to me that I didn't graduate"

  • Hey Peg,  I sure love you and miss you.  I am going to see you this year that is a promise not a threat.  The next time I go over to see my sister we are going to meet up ok?  Come on you two live in the same town.

Peg, your photos are truly breath taking.  Yes we need to hook up I need to pick your brain a bit.  Photography, Ireland, genealogy and then of course just getting caught up with you.  I always appreciated having you in the fellowship...good insight and just a natural heart for God minus legalism...always appreciate that.

    Love you

    Patty

  • Well I haven't been dropping in very much last few years; good to see you are still around. :)

  • I agree. We're in the same boat. we learned what we learned. bottom line. you were in the 8th Corps.
  • Well Peg. it's been good talking. Stay warm up there this winter. When you update your photo, do me a favor and delete those words after (8th corps) "did not finish".
It don't matter to me or God. Just leave at 8th Corps. OK
    John
  • Christmas brake '79, was that when you were back at Emporia after your intrum year? Well, I'm not sure about the handsome face part.
Hay who are the 2 kids in the photo?
  • Well peg my dear. When we started our Corps experance I was the AM switch board operator. I did that for several weeks and I didn't like that at all. Every morning we received a call from HQ before 8 AM so we could get the low rates. the call would go from leader to leader for well over an hr. One morning I lost my consentration and cut off dean Don, I think Mrs W was there because Sahara was in the hospital. A very short time after that I was working PM back in the Mantiance Building with Roman Seteciew where we painted stuff. Roman painted the Motor cycle we gave to Craig, I painted dean Don's car and the WCofE sign on the building. In the change over I had to change twigs which I didn't like at all. I started off in Terry Wilson's twig , our name was "the over & above twig". The new twig was a lot less exciting.
You didn't read my profile. I shared there that I didn't finish. I did intrem with Roman & Dottie, then LOA with them, then I dropped out at the end of that year & got married, never more to return to the Way Corps. And you didn't even notice that I wasn't there
  • Now that you mentioned it, I think I do remember those guys getting stranded. Since you brought it up, does that mean you were one of them? I went on the "hike" while the whole rest of the campus was taking a juice fast, glad I missed that fun! I knew of 2 Peg's and I was having truble figuring out which one you were. I definately remember you.
  • Ya know I think I do remember you. do you remember Mary kaltinmark? she was in Way productions the last part of the first year. I lived in Uncle Harry hall and then Owens. Do you remember when the lice thing happened, and then the staff infection thing. I met Rhonda in my hometown of Portsmouth Ohio before she left for Texas. What was her name after she got married? Do you remember the kids name? Wow I just thought, I don't even know what her name was before she got married. I remember suggesting that she go to.
Texas for the fellow laborers program because Earl was there.

  • I was at Emporia 77/78 also. Did u know a girl named Rhonda who married the man who replaced Earl Burton as Limb leader. she was a fellow laborer in taxas 77/78 i believe then stayed on as the limbleader's wife. she had 2 daughters. ring any bells?
Who did you hang out with at Emoria. Do you have a sister? where did u live on campus?
    John
  • Peg Kelly.
Now it seem that I know you. Can you help me with that?.
    John
