We Remember.....a slideshow by John R. from John R on Vimeo.
In my experience, many of our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep were never given the honor and recognition they deserved. For reasons I won't go into here, I did not allow my grieving process to happen for some of my departed friends. This is my attempt at bringing such honor to our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep. Here are some of them whose pictures I have. May they be recognized and respected for the good they have done. This was difficult to make and and I shed many tears thinking of some of these wonderful people. I am aware it is sad and am sorry that it may affect you so. But I feel better knowing they have been given a chance to be acknowledged. I am sure their families would agree. This is a work in progress as I get more pictures. Send some if you have them. You need to be a member of Way Corps Site to add comments!

John,
I have not visited The Way Corps site in some time, and I notice some additional names to the In Memoriam list. As I viewed this thoughtfully expressed tribute, I was once again moved to tears, as I reflected upon the goodness of God, for the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever. I thanked God that He has continued to bless me with "a healthy body and a sound mind," for which I am ever grateful. As I viewed the slide show and listened to the musical selections that accompanied the presentation, my mind was flooded with wonderfully warm memories that helped to comfort my soul. Thank you so much for this great and gracious gesture. I know that the love that you poured into this project will abound toward you far beyond anything that you can imagine.
Yes, Patty, well put, we have to remember that what we did with a pure heart
for God is nothing to regret or look back at with remorse!
Very well stated Patty.
So wonderful...thank you. Some of these men and women were not only not mourned but they were also dishonored. God called them out and they answered that call and did great and mighty things for God. God has their name written in the book of life that makes them deserving of our honor. Thank you for doing this...finally we can rejoice over their life and having loving memories for them.
John, Thanks for putting this together. There were so many of them that I knew, and so many that I was not aware that they had died. What a comfort knowing we'll be hanging out together again one day. I wonder if there will be a Corp Tent at the gathering!
Great job, John. Yes, it brought some tears as well. . . but tears of thankfulness knowing that someday we will see them again. Thank you!
Thank you for putting this together...I was surprised by the emotions that welled up from within me as I remembered many long forgotten memories...
