  • no silly it is Ashly Simpson and the only picture of myself I had on my computer. I thought everyone would think it was a sister or friend, now you have outed me. I love you!!!!!
  • Yeah, why waste time with those bloody utensils?? I think it is interesting when we read eachothers' profiles how many of us went into HR or training or company leadership after we left The Way. It was great leadership training and the homiletics came in handy. People are always amazed how comfortable I am speaking in public, and I just kind of smile to myself. This is such a blessing to reconnect!

  • My God Marilyn!! Has it ever been a long time! I always had so much fun hanging with you.. Remember the Cornish Hens we ate together at the Holiday Party? You were nervous about doing it the right way, and another person was poking fun at you, but she was using her hads and you did so much bettter than she did! Strange that that should stand out in my memory for 22 years!
Great to hear you are doing well. How about a photo??

  • HI Marilyn,
HOw are you? So good to see you here...not sure if my first comment reached you so here I am again! Love you, Joe Teo
  • Hey Hummer!!
Glad you are on this site... Maybe the rest of the ole gang will log on!
    Ing... remember me?
  • Wow, Marilyn. I can't find the words to adequately describe how I felt when I read your note to me. Mainly because we haven't done anything as far as working with people (outside of my job) for so very long. I had tears welling up in my eyes when I read it. Thank you so much. Our time in Wichita was much like the Twilight Zone, in that we didn't lead anything for a year and a half. It was a very wonderful time in that we got to know you...you cared so much about us and loved us up so well. It's amazing that our love for God and people came across like you shared during that time. It was refreshing to think about, to say the least.

Yes, you and January just get yourselves on a plane and make it out here sometime!! We would absolutely love to see you.

    Kathy
  • Marilyn, of course I remember you, I am in the process of scanning some pictures of me, you, Dee Dolan, and Joy Eastman....I'll let you know when I get the scanner working. I am doing really well and happy. I do miss the ministry and at a minimum the rock of ages so we could at least see each other once a year....this website is the next best thing. Would love to meet at the Emerald Square mall some time! So glad to hear you are close by....HUGS to you!
  • Marilyn, I'm writing you off-site but want to say, you are such a blessing to me for your candor and honesty. Rare; thanks so much. Also: I can't wait for LOST to restart; do you think they'll ever tell us anything, really? :)
Love, your sister in Christ, Deb
  • Marilyn, Marilyn, Maaaaaaarilyyn.....Sweetest girl I know.
Of course I remember you. You were one my better fans of my comedy routines. (I'm not a comedian, but I play one at home).

I'm so glad to hear you are doing so well. I was a recruiter for a mystery shopping company for a while. It was fun and it fit my personality really well.

Next time you are thinking of a vacation, remember San Antonio is a top vacation spot. Come on down... the weather's fine.
