  • Dear Max. Hi there! I dont know if you remember me, but we used to get together at the Preston's harlie and Tracey when they lived in Devon Pa. I live in Pa. up the turnpike towards Jersey . But how sweet to see you on here! Write me back sometime ok? God Bless you!
  • God bless you, Max!

Bill Brown sends his love. You helped him build a gazebo and deck in Armada, Michigan back almost twenty years ago. He asked me to let you know that he has been able to race his own car- it's down, now, but he was successful for several years. He said he thinks about you often and lifts you. His computer is down right now, but he said if you'd like to email him you can at: godspeedss39@hotmail.com and he will respond when he gets it back up.

    Love, Donna Jo
  • Max, do you remember me? Hope you're well and happy.
  • Max, God bless you! I hope you are doing well. Rosie and I moved to Missoula, Montana after the Corps in 1982 and we are still here. I don't know if you knew Art and Janet (Clark) Davison but they also live here. Anyway, I love you and am glad to be able to touch base with you. I always loved you and Karen.
  • Max,
You don't know me but Cheryl Dearman has been trying to get in touch with you for awhile. I told her I would e-mail you and give you her e-mail. She remembers you from Bethlelem, Pa. Her e-mail is cdearman@yahoo.com. God Bless!

  • Hi Max, how have you been? Nice to "see you" here. Are you still doing finish carpentry? You were so dang good at that, and I have always been the "slob framer" by comparison. I guess hanging sheetrock will do that to a person. Anyway, take care and God bless,

    Kevin
  • Hilkiah!
My old and dear friend, how are you? Every so often (when I want to shock my kids) I put in some video tape of something I did way back when, and more often than not, it includes a cut from "Glory to God". And I get a chance to see you and all of that wonderful group. It was a highlight of my life, especially getting to know you.

About two years ago we were doing the town Christmas production and a woman, her daughters, and one of my sons played that song..."Lift up your Heads, Oh You Gates". None of them had ever heard it of course. But they did a beautiful arrangment (all female vocals). The first time they put it all together, I sat out in the seats and cried. I just couldn't help it. It brought back such a flood of memories, sometimes pain and sorrow, but always surrounded by the very beautiful hope of the thing we were portraying - the first coming of Jesus Christ. And I hear the sound of your rich, deep voice...."Did you see their faces? They were so clear!"

I love you, man. I trust all is well with you. Drop me a line. God Bless.

  • Hello Max. I remember you well. I loved your Karin very much. I remember that she used to let me come see her because I made her laugh. She was a good girl and you were a great husband. Don't know if you remember me, but I remember you well. I have often thought of you and wondered how you were doing and if you ever remarried. It is wonderful to know that you are alive and well.
