"Hey, I like being called "kid," keep it up! Good to see you on here. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods, we're having great weather! I'm going two-steppin' tonight, boys are at summer camp. Sure do grow up fast. Good to hear from you!"
"Ha, ha, love that you can toot your own horn, John! Who indeed!
That was fun, and yes, John, that is what I remember about my time in the Corps.
If this was a cult, it was the most fun I ever had!
"
"Hi Judy,
I am currently not a part of a group of believers (not by choice, but by distance). Boy oh boy! Do I miss that personal fellowship! I've found that local Church groups need more healing than I do. (Just an observation - the Lord knows). …"
"I teach a Bible Study at a store front church in the inner city of Manchester, NH, with a couple of ex wayfers.
We also do a Sunday Service. If someone told me when I was in the Way Corps that I would be doing this,
I would have laughed out loud.…"
I've heard of a BibleWorks software that has concordance/lexicon and am wondering if anyone is using it. Since I'm still at the horse and buggy stage (using concordance and lexicon in book form), I'm wondering if anyone has any online…"
"Hi, Michael!
I actually am about 45 minutes from Federal Way, up in North Seattle, and I don't have a fellowship in my home, but I do attend a spirit-filled church called the Oasis, nondenominational, speaking in tongues, and the best pastor I've…"
"Wow, Ric, that was wonderful! And refreshing! You did so much to help me remember the useful things we learned, to ask questions, take an interest, and I forgot all about the greatest sin a man can commit! I do believe your memory is better than…"
"I can only say that my passion for God and His Word and teaching others is as vital now as ever. I've discovered freedom I never knew and an intimacy with God that is undeniable. I'm not part of a "ministry" nor do I have an agenda when I go to the…"
"Oh, John, what a beautiful and touching tribute! I laughed and cried at the same time as memories would hit me. This was indeed a good cry. You're so wonderful to do such a splendid job, and the music was so perfect. Regardless of whether The…"
Judy, You made cannolli, if I remember right, and I helped! I made an italian torte made of ice cream and other stuff. I wish I had the recipes for both - because they both turned out great! It was a fun night. Blessings to you, Cathy
Hey, Hi Judy! It is great to see your smiling face! You look great- that great Italian skin! I still remember when we made the Italian dinner for the Corps leaders - what fun. Good, good times. Blessings to you, Cathy (Pellegrino) Cendroski
Hi Judy--Do I remember you from your first PFAL class on the Avenues in Salt Lake City, UT? An accident you suffered after segment 4? then a trip to Berkeley a few days later where we jogged through the streets at sunrise?
Thought that might be you,
I was in that class, coordinated by Russ -- as well
Cheers--Good to see you and hope that you are well!

Prego! Both my parents are Northern Italian, my mom nearest to Austria at the foothills of the Alps. My dad was born in Costabona, Italy. Reggio Emilia region. http://www.realpointitaly.com/locations/location-Costabona.htm My mother's father and mother came from Tyrolia, a small town named Salter in the Val di Non, Trentino region. http://valdinontrentino.com/ Both are so beautiful. I so wish I could go back and retire there, but with boys of 7 and 10 that is a long way off!
I too felt going to Italy was a life-changing event, and I felt so moved by the basilica and sistine chapel as well as the Uffizi in Florence. I felt I belonged there. And I felt God there also. I went to a lot of saints' tombs, saw the Pope at his summer residence in Castelgondolfo and up in my mother's country there were two mummified saints San Romedio? It was fascinating.
Tante bacci to you and yours (I understand and read Italian better than I speak and write it!
Carrisima Surella, Grazie per tui paroli che sono tanti gentile! Tu sai veramente bellisima in tutti cosi.
I would love to hear more about your family. What part of Italy, Province are they from..north south, are they Near Sicily, Calabria, Roma, etc. etc.
I spent time there of course, a few years that I would not trade for anthing else.
In the year 2000, in March, I was blessed to be sponsored to visit my ancestrial lands once again. I visited Rome, and Assisi. I had a truly life Changing spiritual renewal in Assisi while visiting the tomb of the Saint of Peace, Francis of Assisi.
Lets be friends and pen pals, ok?
Ti voglio bene, in Il Signore Gesu`,
Ciao,
Giuseppe Antonio Pasquella.
