  • Hello Leann,

So nice to see u here on this site,I found it last week and have been catching up with friends here and there.

My father was from WI. they had a farm when he was younger up there. I have been revisiting the Seattle area a few times in this past year, the memories are so great I walked around my old neighborhood an up an down the U-Dist.Even went to a Huskies football game against LSU (Baton Rouge,LA.) @ Husky stadium, right around the corner from my work place as a wow back in 82-83 it was so cool to be there.

Oh well wanted to say hi and you look so well.

    Steve Lundberg

  • Leann...you look wonderful, God Bless you my way corps friend...DB
  • oh my gosh - I had just about finished writing you a long message when it got deleted! Bummer. Anyway, Hi! I was thrilled to see you on this site. You look even more beautiful than you were when we were roommates! Hey, if you'd be interested in getting my preach letters, let me know. I do them about once a month and send them out via e-mail or snail mail. Try to relate something personal and get out what the Lord inspires me to put down. Usually about a page or so. I just finished a painting that goes along with my first "kid preach". I'm thinking it will be the cover for a book I want to publish when I get enough of the kid preaches. I only have 3 so far. The "kid preaches" are a new challenge for me since I don't have any children. I saw a need for the 8-10 year olds that I know. They are a group of kids that are from single parents and have never been to Sunday school and don't have much knowledge of the Bible. There's a bunch of them out there! Their parents know at least about the Bible, but they've never taught their kids, at least not consistently. The other day my friend's 8year old girl asked her mom, "What's the meaning of life, why are we here and what's the point?" The kids want to know stuff and the parents either aren't prepared or really don't know and the kids have no reference points in the Bible because they've never been taught. So, anyway, I do my best and run it by my friend and her daughter to edit and see if it makes sense to the kids. The adult one is much easier! Well, glad to hear that you're happily re-married and having a good time up there in Wisconsin! Keep in touch. Love, Carolyn
  • Hey, thanks for the kinds words. I love keeping intouch with old friends. I agree with you that the diversity is good to see...people have gone different ways...but I think most anyway, still love God in their own way.
