  • John - thanks for your kind word about Lisa's song.  It is one of my favorites too.  Love to you and to Hope from the both of us.
  • John,  You absolutely crack me up.  I'm sure your wife's New York sense of humor has rubbed off on you.  You say that  TWI has changed greatly.  Their members (or whatever they are because we know they don't have members) are now on this site as well as Facebook and they can socialize and express their opinions with ex-members;  Radical Dude!!!  I mean truly,  Radical!!!

Well, I went straight to their web site to see if you were speaking with forked tongue and I had a few questions I wanted to ask them.  Whoa, this was interesting,  no e-mail address.  Okay, not the end of the world I figured it's January 2011 maybe they just didn't get around to setting up their e-mail address yet;  I'll just give them a quick little call.  Hmmmmmm, this amazingly forward thinking organization (they ALLOW their members to speak to ex-members, Oh My!)  didn't put a phone number on their web site.   I refused to be deterred,  there must be A Way to contact The Way! and that's when I saw it....... Contact Us: The Way International

                                                                                                                    P.O. Box.. blah, blah,blah

Snail Mail?  Really John, Snail Mail?  Well,  I guess progress is measured in small litttle baby steps.  Love and Peace to you and Hope.  Lois

  • God bless John

Another year to give God the glory and thanks -  and nearer to His sons impending return! My name does not seem to be in the alphabetical listing for people to find in the members section. Hope all is well with you and your family,      Dan

  • Thanks again, John. Any guy who likes Queen (judging from the music that plays on my computer whenever I try to write to you) is all right with me.

I have to admit I pretty much checked out shortly after Martindale was booted and haven't obsessively followed the cult of Rosalie Rivenbark or whoever is in charge these days. I gather the foundational class, "The Way of Abundance and Power," is now taught by a variety of teachers. The dilution of absolute authority, in this group, can only be a good thing.

    Cheers,

    Karl

P.S. I also like "Earth, Wind and Fire." But do you have any Eminem?

  • Thanks for the note, John. Had a feeling you'd be weighing in!

I'm not a troll trying to throw stink bombs at peaceful assemblies or drop turds in the  punch bowl, and I'm not going to launch a revolt against censorship like I did years ago at the Oddlist.

I am curious about what is not accurate in my book. I take accuracy seriously, and I will correct anything that's wrong. And while roughly half of the book is my own story, the other half is an in-depth history of The Way from 1916 to 2000, packed full of accurate information you couldn't find between two covers anywhere else.

Over the years I've heard from many hundreds, possibly thousands, of people who were desperate for accurate information on The Way. Many of these had friends or family members who were still ensnared by The Way or one of its offshoots. Many others were ex-members of The Way who endured abuse that left them scarred for life. These people have found my book very helpful, even life-changing. I make no apologies for what I've written, or for trying to promote it to those who are looking for this very thing.

Having said that, it's your site and I'm not going to argue with you. I do reserve the right to reply to anyone who tells me to be quiet. The best way to shut me up is to ignore me!

Cheers and thanks, and say hello to Hope,

    Karl
