Thank you for the warm welcome and, most of all, thank you for this site. It will take a while for me to make all of the connections I would like to, as there are so many names of friends I have lost contact with. I am very thankful for what you've done here.
I will post my story at some point. We are very busy at this point, so it will have to wait for a little while. One of the projects is working on our webpage. That is going to be a big one.
I'm also going to move at an even pace in contacting people, or I could get overwhelmed - so many wonderful people, so little time.
Please give Hope my love (I will be posting back to her as well), and say hi to Rick for me (we worked together in Toronto on window cleaning - I see we share that warped love of heights - highrise work is the best).

What happend to the JAL Blog?
It seems to have come to a halt or did it move?
I wanted to add some comments about Islam as some of the comments JAL made about the "killing of infidels" were taken out of the context of the suras (Verses).
I recently returned to College and just finished a World Religions class last semester which was quite informative, specially on Islam.
I have been reading the Koran also and I can tell you that the "Radicals" have hi-jacked the religion for their own destructive puposes marring the the majority of peaceful Muslims.
I have a book I am almost through reading I want to recommend entitled, "A Deadly Misunderstanding" by Mark D. Siljander.
I also have made many Muslim friends at school and have been able to build a bridge of respect and understanding of similar values and beliefs.
Did you know that Jesus or Isa is mentioned over 110 times in the Koran?
Muslims love and highly respect Isa as he is called in Arabic and most do not understand why many Christians today do not act or follow Jesus in their eveyday actions.
When I meet a Muslim I am sure to tell then that I am a Christian but not a Traditional, Denominational or Crusader type but I follow the way of Jesus Christ.
