About Me
I started this site in 2006 for fun and reconnection purposes ONLY. I gave up this site several years ago. Currently, I do not support of condone this site any longer and have nothing to do with its content, most of which I disagree with. Therefore, will rarely come here and have asked the moderators to delete me from their "all-mailing" lists.
My Interests
I am a self taught computer geek. I also enjoy real estate and stocks.
Employment or Career
I have been living in Tampa, FL since 1979. Like many of us back then, I started a window cleaning company to support myself. Over the years it grew into a company with over 60 employees and managers. I sold in 2006 to a large company and stayed on as Vice President for a while. In lieu of retirement I started another company called JR Services. I married Hope Harmon a 6th Corps alumnus, whom I love "with all my heart". We have two children.
Sports Teams I like
Tampa Bay Bucs Tampa Bay Lightening

I spent an hour ( didn't plan on it ), on that site John L. started about TWI stuff/belief/etc. Whew! Glad Dale Cain hasn't jumped into that discussion! I did what you said took a "chill pill" and ate some turkey. I think that "stuff" is OK as long as we are respectful of each other. Heck! I'm almost certain there are some people on this site who believe JC is God ( I think Bailey is one of them ), or maybe every waking minute we aren't SIT's ( I'm certain Kriston has ceased ) or do we know if Graves even reads his bible anymore..... c'mon I'm kiddin'...lighten up!
All kiddin' aside, I am impressed by all that goes on on this site. This holiday/Christmas season I think alot of us are a bit wiser than we were a year ago, perhaps we smile a little more, perhaps a few who have extra $ will give it to someone who really really needs it. Hey! You are a righteous dude!
Yes I was there during the article and photos...actually my mother was so excited about Life mag being there that she made me late for the meeting combing my hair and putting on makeup that I arrived late and sat in back of the photographer! Other wise I guess I would be in the photos also! Those were exciting times! Filled with the Holy Spirit and Hope! (kind of like now!)
We're back in SC right now through the holidays with Mom, Franklin, Foster and the gang. Should be a blessed time.
Have seen lots of folks as we've traveled the country and we've been so blessed by the sweet fellowship we've had with each and every one of them--from Glenda Sue to John & Mary Sommerville, Dan Stokemer, Dale Sides, Steve Armstrong and family, Steve Sann and son, Nate (quite a hunk--looks so much like Suzie), Jeff and Debbie Mohn--all out west. Then we saw Joel Burke, his son, Joel, Karol Cardullo and her darling son, Francis in Wapakoneta (we stayed there sort of by accident, as all the campgrounds north of there were closed already for the winter and we were on our way south from our cottage in MI) Drove down Wierwille road on Sunday morning--looked pretty deserted but the grounds are still lovely--brought back bitter-sweet memories. So...we head for Port St. Lucie in January for 3 months but will be in and out of Tampas so we'll have to get together then.
Love to Hope--hand in there, Dad!
Stanley
Thanks for the welcome.
I'm looking forward to catching up with numerous people I haven't seen in many years.
I washed windows for a time in Columbus, Oh. while getting my "stuff" together to start college. Maybe if I had been a better window guy, I would have followed your lead. Oh well...now i are an eng'nr!
Regards,
Dan

Did you ever get a reply to where is Debbie Bowen?
My wife, DJ and Debbie were very good friends in the 5th Corps.
