  • Hey! Thanks for the comment regarding my "little rugrats".

I spent an hour ( didn't plan on it ), on that site John L. started about TWI stuff/belief/etc. Whew! Glad Dale Cain hasn't jumped into that discussion! I did what you said took a "chill pill" and ate some turkey. I think that "stuff" is OK as long as we are respectful of each other. Heck! I'm almost certain there are some people on this site who believe JC is God ( I think Bailey is one of them ), or maybe every waking minute we aren't SIT's ( I'm certain Kriston has ceased ) or do we know if Graves even reads his bible anymore..... c'mon I'm kiddin'...lighten up!

All kiddin' aside, I am impressed by all that goes on on this site. This holiday/Christmas season I think alot of us are a bit wiser than we were a year ago, perhaps we smile a little more, perhaps a few who have extra $ will give it to someone who really really needs it. Hey! You are a righteous dude!
  • Good to see you here John, whoever created this site did ok...lol
  • About time you got home!
  • Hi JOhn,

Yes I was there during the article and photos...actually my mother was so excited about Life mag being there that she made me late for the meeting combing my hair and putting on makeup that I arrived late and sat in back of the photographer! Other wise I guess I would be in the photos also! Those were exciting times! Filled with the Holy Spirit and Hope! (kind of like now!)
  • John--Hi. I just scrolled through your site and was moved to tears by the number of beloved brothers and sisters who are no longer with us. You really have done a beautiful job with this site.

We're back in SC right now through the holidays with Mom, Franklin, Foster and the gang. Should be a blessed time.

Have seen lots of folks as we've traveled the country and we've been so blessed by the sweet fellowship we've had with each and every one of them--from Glenda Sue to John & Mary Sommerville, Dan Stokemer, Dale Sides, Steve Armstrong and family, Steve Sann and son, Nate (quite a hunk--looks so much like Suzie), Jeff and Debbie Mohn--all out west. Then we saw Joel Burke, his son, Joel, Karol Cardullo and her darling son, Francis in Wapakoneta (we stayed there sort of by accident, as all the campgrounds north of there were closed already for the winter and we were on our way south from our cottage in MI) Drove down Wierwille road on Sunday morning--looked pretty deserted but the grounds are still lovely--brought back bitter-sweet memories. So...we head for Port St. Lucie in January for 3 months but will be in and out of Tampas so we'll have to get together then.

Love to Hope--hand in there, Dad!

    Stanley
  • John,
    Thanks for the welcome.
I'm looking forward to catching up with numerous people I haven't seen in many years.
I washed windows for a time in Columbus, Oh. while getting my "stuff" together to start college. Maybe if I had been a better window guy, I would have followed your lead. Oh well...now i are an eng'nr!

    Regards,
    Dan
  • Hey you knuckle-butt! Happy Thanksgiving! Are you thankful for me like I'm thankful for you?
  • Hey John!
Yup that was quite a time. Kris Skedgell is the girl in the pic.
    I'll call you.
    peace,
    Tim
  • John,
Did you ever get a reply to where is Debbie Bowen?
My wife, DJ and Debbie were very good friends in the 5th Corps.

  • John, I'm fine as frog hair. Sorry to alarm you. Just wanted to hear your voice. I've already told Hope that I wished we lived close so we could hang. I need my Family so. Your Brother, Christopher
