  • John, Just wanted to say THANKS again. This has been awesome catching up with some very dear old friends. They have passed me around. And looks like we will be having some reunions this year. I think 2008 is going to go down as one of the great years! All of this re-connecting is pretty powerful. You and Hope take the cake when it comes to posting the BEST photos EVER !
I have to get out my box of TWI treasures and get one out for you...you might be in it...were you involved with running camps? There was a Pilot Council (training) one year for all the Limbs held at Hdqtrs...I have the group shot from that...my oldest ROA photos were all done with a polaroid and they are pretty blurry...
Thanks again, John, for allowing me to access this information. Love, Michelle
  • Thanks, John. I recently spent time with Bo & Stanley Reahard, and they told me about this site. Bless you & Hope for setting it up, and providing this valuable and healing service. What a trip in Professor Peabody's Way-back machine! I love it!
  • Thanks Honey! A small correction - I am memember No 3 after Hope & YOU and am very thankful for that, PRAISE GOD!
  • Well, I've spent more time at my computer in the last 24 hours than I have in months, maybe years. Amazing, it is very healing that we can get back in touch with so many friends that we love and were such an important part of our lives. And thanks for keeping it from being a bitching forum. I kinda did that in my first comment to you, thanks for letting me vent, I'll leave it at that. I think we had one main purpose in mind when all of us went into the Corps so I'm sure there are a lot of good reasons for all of us to to be nice and leave the doors of communication open. Not that all open doors are good, see my comment to Steve M.
  • I'd love to visit you and Hope, but honestly, I forgot your address.
  • John. I took a peek at the slide show you put on for Kerr Pelto to view. It is the greatest. I love how you have so many pictures, videos music, etc...thanks for all of your efforts. They are such a blessing
  • I remember you after seeing your pic. I went on GS and saw that Jonny/Kevin had been asking about me. So, I've been emailing old Way friends for the last day or so. Eileen was a good friend also. I don't really stay up on all the Exway stuff. I'll take a look every few years or so and it's very healing. I left in late 87 and when I revisit that part of my past its bittersweet. I think that even though some of us left 20 years ago, there's still alot of healing that may need to take place. It took me a good 10 years to quit feeling guilty. I felt like I was forsaking God, even though I knew better. It wasn't too hard to believe the stuff about LCM but it took a few years for me to admit that VPW would pull that crap. This is the first comment I've ever made publicly about TWI, I think the root of the whole problem was DISHONESTY!!! I mean really, a fake Dr's degree, snow on the gas pumps, VPW being on the same level as Paul , etc.ad infinitum. What level of dishonesty are you at when you can commit adultery and think it's OK, in the household of believers no less. Anyway...Good to hear you're a Stevie Ray fan, which brings up a good point about honesty, After playing guitar for 40 years or so I can testify that I can't strap my guitar on, plug in and play a lie. That sounds a little trippy but what I mean is that if VPW was as honest about researching, teaching and living the Word as Stevie was about playing guitar, we would have had a real ministry. I have no secrets, feel free to share anything I say with anyone you want and you can quote me if you wish. Love, in Christ Jeff
  • Thanks, John. I am feeling pretty blessed right now...and I have not even looked around yet! Much love, Michelle
  • Hi John,

Thanks for all the work you have put into this site.

I am just getting to know the place, but I have already connected with one old friend, and I see there are many others.

    God Bless,

    Darrell
  • John: I show up in Part 2 first at 15:39 as the camera pans left in the Way Woods singing and the again at 16:14 in the the group shot of the Advance Class. I'm standing on the left side near what looks to be Al Waneburg (sp?). I was 19 then and much thinner.
