Thanks for taking the time to call Shannon. She enjoyed her time on the phone with you immensely. We haven't been too much in touch with folks from back in dem days when it comes to "real time". She is digging Florida, for, being "Outside" as we Alaskans call it is always a treat. Especially when it is in a cool place so obviously the opposite of Alaska. And so, I have to get going. I start work at 0600 which isn't far away. Oh yeah, and "heal" you? I am afraid my friend that you are beyond the pail. I think that it's the wuthering heights that you have so enjoyed that have put you over the edge...hah!

Kevin Nye here. Say, my wife, Shannon, your old Corps Sistah is down in Orlando for a class that the State of Alaska has sent her to. She is staying at some nice "Disney hotel", not far from a place called "Disney City" or some dang thing like that. I guess everything is "Disney" around those parts. She had had plans to go see Chicago play live at the Hard Rock Cafe, but found that the place is pretty far away from where she is. Basically, she is not a "local" like you, and I thought maybe you could give her a call on her cell phone (907-209-9021) and give her a "heads up" on the area. Also, you may know of old friends of hers that are in the area where you live. Don't you live in or near St. Pete or Tampa Bay? Anyways, after having been cooped up here in Alaska for so long, she's feeling a bit like a salmon out of water down there. She's digging it though, seeing the egrets, anoles, and other cool water birds and NOT hearing only the incessant croaking of the ravens. I told her to pay attention when near the edge of any pond or waterways, for, the gators do tend to want to eat humans from time to time. She'll be down there till Saturday or Sunday, so, if you feel so inspired, give a call and say howdy. I think she'd like that. Take care and have a nice rest of the week.

Thanks you so much for your kind words a manifestation of God's unrelenting, unconditional love. Cathy sends her love and might be signing onto to have her own account. She hessitates because she doesn't want to feel she much have to justify her faith to others. She remembers the former conditioning she had,that told her to almost have hate for every professiong Christian not part of the Way. No one knows the personal sufferings that we both experienced in the Way but us (that is personally).
That being said, I have the most fond memories of folks and friends in the Way. It is not the great number of people that I have any feeling for, only the organization. I still love and reachout to my former friends in the Way, some have kept in touch, others have sent me hate mail, not only here but on other web sites, email and personal mail.
I have found that it does no good to argue with others regarding such matters, but live my life according to the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ Savior.
All the Apostles except John died as Martyrs for faith. As the Scripture says, "they that life godly lifes in Christ, shall suffer persecution.
