AND, we googled her and tried to open the Greasespot Cafe site.  It's closed.  Well, butter my butt and call me a bisquit!

"Sound Out '84 was released in tape format.  I may have it, however, it is in someone's garage in Atlanta and I am in California.  Don't ask I have had "helpers' on this since 2006.  DON't ASK.  Let me ask around and see if someone has it."

"Hello, dear Janis. It is great that you took a rescue dog into your home and hearts.
Our dog was from a rescue. She was found in the woods in Indiana.
They estimate she was about 5 or 6 and she had BAD heartworms.

That was over five years ago. She…"

  • Hi Janis
Queen Creek is about 10 miles South East of Mesa. We love it here. My wife Louanne and I moved down here from Portland OR. and it would take a herd of Clydesdale horses to get us out of here.
We have 3 teen age kids that are trying to take the rest of my hair. Other then that, life is good. Thank you for welcoming us to this site. It is always a pleasure to meet new people that stand for God. Bless you - Mike

PS Congratulations on your engagement, Louanne and I have been married for 19 years and it only gets better!
  • Hi Janis,
Sorry it has taken a while to respond but to me computers are still a glorified typewriter! Finding my way around these web sites is close to impossible, I need my kids to keep instructing me.
For the time being I'm still here in Minnesota but the house is up for sale and my family and I will be moving to Alaska this coming spring/summer. It's been almost 30 years since the last time I lived up there but the place is still amazing.
You're getting married! Congratulations. When's the big day?
Talk with you some more later.
    God bless you,
    David
  • The book was okay, seemed so unlike any other captive books I have read. Most have painted some enjoyment and friendships that developed with their captors, Olive Oatman communicates much disdain and superiority towards hers. I love to read too!!!
  • I stay busy, sometimes too much so. This little house has needed more love than I expected, fun most of the time sometimes fustrating. I see you read "Follow the River", was just saying the other day need to re-read that one. I just finished "Captivity of the Oatman girls". Nice music by the way!
  • Hi Janis, It's great to come across a woman who can still spit and does it at the right time. I loved your comment on the blog.
    God bless you

  • I am a self-employed work-a-holic. If it is not at work (residential painting contractor), it is on my fixer uppers (house and camp-trailer).

  • Sweet girl, you are way too funny about the Gators that is. True I am an alumni, but now my son is a Moccasin. No football so no worries.
Always good to hear from you.
