Good to hear from you! It's been a long time since I was in MN, so my memory is foggy - where did we meet? (I have a hard time remembering what I did yesterday......:) So, I see you live in CA. Not too far from me as the crow flies - or should I say as the jet flies....:0)
Yes, I am happy here in Montana. My husband is a young believer but such a doll - (He's 61, I'm 48 - we're not really young are we?) Yesterday morning while I was getting ready for work he knocked on my bathroom door. I opened the door and he was standing there with a cup of coffee, creamer, sugar and a spoon - he didn't want to add the wrong amount of stuff, so he carried it all upstairs to me so I could put it in myself....He's always doing that kind of stuff for me - he is so caring and loving and thoughtful. He reads my every expression, knows my every mood, tries to find ways to bless me and take good care of me. We have our differences and sometimes get into big arguments, but neither one of us can stand to be mad at the other, so we find a way to make up - Even after having been married for 14 years to my first husband, and having been with Jim for 2 years, I still haven't figured out how to be a great wife all the time....I saw a DVD about marriage called LOVE and RESPECT and boy was it eye-opening.....(Good LORD am I disrespectful!!!! :0) I am too feisty for my own good.....) but anyways, it was pretty cool stuff - someday I might even get around to living it....:0) Eggerich is the last name of the guy who wrote the book and did the DVD seminar. The DVD is way better than the book - lots of comedy and the guy is a great speaker - the book is a little too dry for my taste.....Well, gotta run for now. It was great reconnecting with you! Stay in touch, okay?
In Christ,
Diane
Nice to hear from you. I was reading on your page about Pine Lake and I remember that when I was in that area my boss told me how she was amazed at all the terrible things they said about her when she ran for mayor of Pine Lake! ...and the place was only slightly bigger than a tennis court as I recall. That's politics I guess. Sounds like you too have had political experience in Pine Lake! I did think it was cool that the first day on my job working for that person she asked me if I wanted to start with a word of prayer, since she knew I was in a Christian outreach program. And it turned out to be a good job for that year.
Also read some of your comments on Stone Mountain. I remember walking up the mountain a number of times. One time we went camping there and I think everyone in my WOW team thought I was nuts when it was raining and I said we were still going camping. But we did go and the rain stopped and we had a good time.
Last year I was in Atlanta area on business for a day or so, first time being back there since the year you mentioned.
Great to hear from a voice from the past. Regarding your last comment, thanks for that, all I can say is I hope so.
God bless,
Rich
Nice to hear from you! Bob is doing fine but we're not married any more. He's in Vegas and is remarried. We did have some great times in residence and I'm very thankful for that.
