"Absolutely! My borthday snuck up on me for the first time in my life. Gabe turns 18 and graduates today so that sort of trumps everything. I really never even thought about it until I received renewals for five car registrations and my drivers…"

"Very, very nice. I just kept thinking about how those folks remembered their creator when they were young and enjoyed fellowship with Him their entire lives, something very few others have ever enjoyed. They sleep now and we miss them terribly, but…"

"Yeah, we have a while until we are empty-nesters - still another 8 years at the soonest - my daughter is a college sophomore but my little guy is only nine. God has a weird sense of humor.

You guys look great - and you have a neat-looking pet! How…"

God Bless,

"Happy 90th Birthday, Dorrian Gray. You don't look a day over 30. Dammit.

I just know there's a painting of you hanging in your closet somewhere that is really old. There is no other explanation for your eternal youth.

God Bless you old friend.…"

A few years ago I bought a book on Amazon because it was by a Dennis McGee and it…"

"Pat,
With all the confusion after the B-52's leveled the place in 1986, I never had the chance to thank you for your friendship and your wisdom. You were one of the few voices shouting from the crowd "The emperor has no clothes!" So - for being a…"

You made me laugh and cry at the same time. Becky was an awfully good friend to me in the Corps. She nursed me back to health at Emporia (which basically meant she kicked my lazy ass out of bed). I've been thinking about the experiences…"

Just wondering if you moved to Indiana yet. We have two offices in Indiana and I'm there from time to time. I'd enjoy catching up with you sometime if you want.

My masters is in business which opened doors for me at this companyt, but really just goes to show how gullible some people are. I learned 1,000 times more in the Corps than college,…"

"Yup. That became a cult hit.

So to speak.

I did it at LEAD and two years later they were still singing it that way in Tinnie. We could have made a great songwriting team: Gilbert & Sullivan, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lennon & McCartney and Youngblood…"

  • Hi Glenn,
This is David this time. I know, I know, some have problems with both of us being on the same profile being in different Corps and all, but the benefit is I get to be in more Groups. I notice your only in one, maybe someone will let you in another.

As I recall, you were on one of my LEAD sessions and I can remember having the greatest time in line with you as we were hiking up the mount (not the one of smoke and fire but the burn was definitely there). I enjoyed you humor and wit and all the fun-filled facts that you through out. I recall laughing a bit while others were crying for their bodies. One part I do recall, hang on while I pull up the memory file...........OK..... is you had some info on John Lennon about the change at the end of his life. Always fascinated me.

Anyways, reading your bio made me laugh as it was as if I was walking the trail again and you made me laugh. Thanks for the memory smile. Life is good!
  • Ahhh Glen I read your bio and it is good to know you have the same old rye humour....You look great and sound even better... : ) After I get some help from the younger generation I'll post a pic too...Great seeing you...Love Ann (Woodger) Hucke
  • Hi Glenn, good to see you on this site. My family lives in Michigan, a Brother in Grand Rapids, Randy and Elizabeth Smith and they have a site on this WC site. David and I live in CT. and have 3 teenage boys.. the rest is on our site.
