"Thanks for the welcome! Please do let me know when you plan to be in our neck of the woods. It will be fun to get together. I don't mind driving a bit either. In fact, I've been wanting to go north to Amish country... Glad all is well. Karen"
It's nice to hear from you. No, we haven't moved yet. I'm waiting until my daughter, Hannah, graduates from highschool next year. My plan is to be in Indiana by the end of July at the latest. Of course, I need to sell my house, etc. so…"
"I do remember that night. I wonder how many Way Corps were able to sneek by me when I was on Bless Patrol... It would be nice to stay in touch. My email address is kjoeckel@sover.net if you want to drop a note."
I was looking through old pictures and got nostalgic, so I came to visit the site. I'm glad to see you here and hope all is well with you. I just drove through Ohio this summer and thought alot about the old way days. Remember watching An…"
"Hi Glenn!
I was looking through old pictures the other day and got all nostalgic. I guess that's why I finally visited the site again. I'm glad to see you here. We had some good and "interesting" times in the Way home in Maryland.
"Hi John,
I'm not sure you will remember me - Karen Joeckel from the 17th corps. We were in the same "twig" at Emporia and spent some time hanging around together. (That is if you are the same John Lawrence). It's sound like things are going well for…"
Nice to see you on the page. I didn't realize it had been so long since I looked here. I was really glad to talk with you too. The spring trip isn't happening, but there's always fall or even next year once I sell the house. Keep that in…"
I was glad to get your comment. Sorry for the late response, I don't get much computer time. I actually haven't heard from anyone in quite awhile. Many years back (many), I spoke with Brian and Glenn McCaw and emailed with Mike Grimm. I ran…"
Congratulations! Welcome to the neighborhood - sort of. I am in Indiana every so often, I'll give you a heads-up next time and we can catch up! I think I'll be there in a couple weeks. I need to photograph some of our projects and I've put it off all summer. I have to complete them before the leaves fall off, and the way this weather is this year that may be soon.
Just wondering if you moved to Indiana yet. We have two offices in Indiana and I'm there from time to time. I'd enjoy catching up with you sometime if you want.
It was great to hear from you. Yeah I remember quite a few things about that year, and a few I'd rather forget. It was a good year though, I loved Maryland.
I traded a couple of emails with Mike Grimm a few years ago. I think he was in Colorado and was working as an engineer, perhaps civil. He was married and had 2-3 kids. It sounded like he was doing fine. I'll see if I have an email address for him someplace.
Geez, so many memories. I'm sure glad all you guys put up with me. I was really young, and pretty stupid. Now I'm old(er) and still pretty stupid. I just hide it better now. We're in Columbus, Ohio. I have two kids 13 and 16.
I remember watching American Werewolf in London at St Marys College with you and Mike and a bunch of hippies. I also remember watching The Breakfast Club with you. It seems like we spent a lot of time quoting that one.
What a nice note. Our daughters are the same age it seems. My daughter is graduating in a couple weeks. She is going to Ohio to study theater.
Our firm has two offices in Indiana and I get down there often. We will we definitely have to stay in touch so that when you move to our neck of the woods we can find out what each other has been up to in the last 22 (!!!) years.
I also look at photos and remember the great times. Brian is on here and we sometimes chat through this site. Seems a bit weird but that's technology. He is doing great and is quite blesed with his family and the believers in Columbus. Be sure to drop him a line.
Looking forward to looking back a little bit with you.
Hi Karen, yep, you have the right John Lawrence and I do remember you. How are you. Glad to hear you are doing well and enjoying life in Vermont. i remember playing pool one night and getting back to the campus late and the bless patrol never even saw us even though we were 10 feet behind them. Pretty wild. I have to run now but let's keep in touch. John
Hi Karen: Sorry I haven't called you back since the last time. Isn't this a nice site? I have connected with quite a few old friends. Still looking forward to your SPRING visit. Save up your vacation days and pennies. love Darlene
Hey Karen
So good to hear from you. Been a lot of years since Baltimore and unfortunately I didn't stay in touch with any of that group of folks. Have you heard from any? There are several I would like to touch base with.
Drop me a note when you have time.
Thanx
Al
