  • Glenda Sue,

So nice to hear from you! You are the one who is doing well... retied sounds great to me and with a loving husband to boot. If you would, write and tell me about how you met him. You have always had great favor of the Lord on your life, haven't you! ruty@nktelco.net
  • Dear Glenda Sue, I remember you well in the Bishop's dining room and how the Word was on fire then. How you were radiant with the joy we shared. Thank you for writing. I have the fondest memories of you. best, kristen
  • Favorite What?
    Yaahoo, I seem to recall.
I'm still capable of having my moments.
Let's go get a beer sometime.
  • Dear Glenda Sue,

Hi sister, so we are still God's righteous ones, masterpieces, eh!

The years have rolled by, but we are yet young at heart and living according to what is written in the church epistles, with believing, hope and above all, love of God, which is in us in Christ.

The mystery is what we faithfully steward, so it is a joy to be like-minded with you. I so enjoyed our times and life together....
you are in my thoughts and prayers, so much to be thankful for.

Love from above, your brother, forever,

    CH
  • Glenda Sue, you are still much too energetic for me...
    Donnie's right about many things,
And I suppose if ya hafta do a detailed study on it, the Kingdom of God is pretty "damned" neat...
But I would really rather spend my time on healing the sick, cleansing the lepers, raising the dead, and casting out devils...
That's gotta fit in there somewheres...

    Much loves,

    :) Bob
  • Glenda Sue,

I think we might just take you up on that stop by. Send me your direct email: stevenbudlong@earthlink.net
  • Glenda, Thanks for your note of encouragement. We have so little time to impact a dying world. We are all aliens on a foreign planet. Don't you feel it?! We were born into the Kingdom of Heaven and we have our citizenship in heaven. We are new creatures and these earthlings need to see something different in us or else they might mistake us as being one of them. Oh we are in this world but we are not of it. Our King reigns in our lives and we are bound by a new Lord who directs our steps. Making Jesus Lord is our entrance but keeping him Lord is our devotion and love pact with him. God is our Father and he wants us to use our DNA (unique to all new Kingdom dwellers and he wants this to be mixed with His full measure of holy spirit. NOW, we are different. If we don't think differently and act differently it is only because we have given up on the mixing process. As we humble ourselves to His Will, as we lay down our eartly thoughts and our minds are renewed to His Heavenly thoughts we become transformed. Only then will we know, only then will we understand because His thoughts ARE NOT our natural thoughts and His Ways ARE NOT our natural ways. Rather than becoming sick by the touch world and wanting to hide from the world like monks or hermits, he sends us into the world to be his hands and feet. We are commissioned and empowered. We are given heavenly responsibilities (purpose) and we are given authority over powers on earth. He sends us to tell the story of Jesus as Saviour. He sends us to help the poor and the downcast. To heal the sick and to mend those who are broken hearted. We cannot do this if we hide instead we have to shine in our communities, we need to be different, think differently, act differently and listen to what the spirit of God is saying to us. As we walk where He wants us to walk, talk to whoever He sends us to talk to even though it may make our flesh crawl, we have to have faith that He knows and the outcome will change their lives and ours. THEN you really see that by our own power we are nothing but with him working in us we can do all things and we can speak and the impossible will be done! When the world see this new way, this new healing, loving spirit they will turn to Him because we are all devoid of a Father, a Heavenly Father, we are all prodigal at some time in our life. As one man put it everyone of us is pre-pit, pit or post-pit. God wants to take our earthly problems and turn them into heavenly solutions. I have no idea why I am sharing this with you. You will have to ask Him. I love you. He is a Faithful God and He will NEVER fail you. Love in him, Don
  • God Bless You Glenda Sue!

It's wonderful to hear from you : ) Thanks very much for your comments..... I don't deserve them but I appreciate them anyway.
I've thought of you off and on during the last year or so, as my friend Jan Magiera has mentioned you from time to time. I've been blessed to be able to fly out to San Diego to visit her and Glen 3 times over the last 18 months, and have been happy to learn that the two of you have hooked up!

I enjoyed reading all about you in the "About Me" section..... seems we have some similar interests : ) And I'd love to hear more of your stories! I've seen at least one angel myself (when I was in Romainia about 6 years ago, when Jan and I were there together with some other folks ministering God's Word, etc.), and am certainly looking forward to more experiences like that.

It's nice to hear you and your husband have an "open door" policy in case I have the opportunity to venture back to Kansas. I'll certainly look you up : ) Right now my boys and I live with my mom so I'm not in the situation to be able to entertain friends, however I do look forward to being able to do that someday in the future. My desire is to have an old Victorian home (restored already) with lots of nice countryside around it, lots of guest bedrooms and bathrooms, and other spaces enough to entertain believers on a revolving basis for all types of occasions! Wouldn't that be fun?

Again, it was nice to hear from you.....love and hugs to you and your family,
    Sara

  • Hey, Glenda

I do not know how to accept being on your friends list, but I sure am glad to. My computer is so slow I do not spend a lot of time here. I love in "no man's land." No cable available here, even though we are on a US Hwy. God bless you.
