I rode for quite a long time. But now, living in the "city" I don't. Its my friends bike. I just always wanted a pic of me on it! Sorry to disappoint. If I was in a more rural place, I'd have another in a heartbeat."

  • Ya know Gale, you mention Eddie Van Halen, the "boy guitar genius". And ya know, I have only recently, in the last five years, begun to take note of how good he was/is. And, I remember this: One time during a Rock 'n Roll Hall Of Fame" induction night, I witnessed this: On stage was Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Bo Diddley, Eddie Van Halen, and of all people Sam Kinison, aka "The Screamer". I think that the purpose of this collection of guitarists was to give Sam Kinison his "life's dream" of playing with those, his favorite guitarists. And so, the jammed. It was some simple 12 bar blues tune at a fast shuffle, and, they all took a lead throughout the song. And finally, Sam Kinison, at took the last break, and did a fair job of it. BUT. This is what was so cool to me, and gave me my first taste of Van Halen's expertise, was when Van Halen took his solo break. It was lightning fast, very tasty, and as he was playing, Eric Clapton began to bow before him and mouthing the words; "We're not worthy! We're not worthy!"

    And so, It was interesting...

  • Gale, I sent you a short response. I would love to hear your voice and talk on the telephone. email-a3heaven@msn.com, 704-743-7034 Call me Sharon
  • Okay, Jimi. That looks better. You know Rock 'n Roller's names lots better than me, that's for sure! I like your black background. I wish I knew more about computers. I've been trying to add some photos for days, but no luck. Putting the personal portrait in was easy, but adding more is impossible. I love you! You are such a smart cookie! xoxox Glenda Sue
  • Gale, well, I never made it to New York while you were there, but I probably wouldn't be where I am now, so that makes me glad!

I did the legal secretary thing. It's good money. So is working for doctors! I had my own show for about three years. Started out country and ended up "Variety." I could get more gigs that way. I feel like you, I sort of got it out of my system.

You know I kissed Jimmie Hendrix, right?

    I love you!

    Glenda Sue
