Hi Greg and Gail,

I love you guys! Are you still in Kalamazoo? Philip got married in August (ohmygosh!!!) Sweet girl his age and fellow honor student at OSU. Everyone was surprised because he kept it "under his hat" for a long time.
I have a cute little house in Parma Hts., right near my home town. I share it with 2 cats and a goldfish. I am starting to see a two year goal come to pass with the third fellowship meeting this weekend in my home. It is exciting. Love you bunches! Lynn
Hi!
Hey! Soo good to hear from you!
Thanks for your comment on my blog. You are among the very few who have bothered to read it. None the less, I am going to offer another posting within the next 2 weeks or so (waiting to hear from people I asked to review it). It will be a Biblical research article questioning the doctrine of the "two natures."
Thanks also for remembering the "emotions" Way Mag article. When I wrote it and submitted it for publication, I was employed in the Research Department at HQ and had every reason to believe that submitting this article would cause me to be fired on the spot. Craig Martindale was repeatedly espousing the opposite at the time. The Trustees were given all Way Mag proposed articles for approval. I fully expected to be called in and dismissed. When that didn't happen and the article was published, I was astounded. Unknown to me at the time was that Chris Geer had confronted the Trustees with "The Passing of a Patriarch" which had not yet been made public. The Trustees were backing off when my article came through. In the carnage that followed, my "emotions" article offered comfort and sanity to a number of people who needed it.
I can no longer remember the name of the psychiatrist involved with the ministry who was greatly touted at the time. He sought me out at Corps week and pretty much begged me to write more on emotions. Corps Week was an emotional travesty that year. I told him that I had already written as much as I knew from God's Word. I didn't know anything else FROM GOD"S Word to say. So that was the only such article ever written in The Way Ministry on the subject. Thanks again for remembering.
Bless,
Ken
Gail,
You don't know me, but I am Tenth Corps and spent my apprentice year with Beth Olcott. Are you from Allegon (spelling?) as I believe that's where Beth is from. If so, do you know where she is? I would love to reconnect with her. Thank you and God bless you!
Thanks for the note! Great to hear that you are alive and well and still together. I didn't do very many weddings back in the 70's (relatively speaking compared to a number of other Way ministers). Dr Wierwille had taught us that the minister's presence in the wedding represented God's presence. I therefore could not bring myself to do a wedding unless I really believed God was in it. Your's was only about the 2'nd or 3'rd one I ever did, after having said no to at least 10 couples.
You guys are God's best. Again, great to hear frm you! Ken
Gail!
Becky Trask and I are living outside of Boston. I get back to Holland periodically. It'd be great to see you again! Say hi to Greg and brother Steve.
Love,
Marco
