memoriam

We Remember.....a slideshow by John R. from John R on Vimeo.

In my experience, many of our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep were never given the honor and recognition they deserved. For reasons I won't go into here, I did not allow my grieving process to happen for some of my departed friends. This is my attempt at bringing such honor to our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep. Here are some of them whose pictures I have. May they be recognized and respected for the good they have done. This was difficult to make and and I shed many tears thinking of some of these wonderful people. I am aware it is sad and am sorry that it may affect you so. But I feel better knowing they have been given a chance to be acknowledged. I am sure their families would agree. This is a work in progress as I get more pictures. Send some if you have them.

Ruth and I watched it full screen... very precious souls and we have been privileged to have known them. Our inheritance is sealed. We are banded together with the bands of Christ's love and they cannot be broken.

What a moment to be able to remember many of these people. Made me remember that our lives are just a vapor. We only have a short time to make an inpact on people with what we know to be true. Some of these people were top shelf in their believing. On an intimate note. They all had a passion for God that inspired us and we shared with them.

Oh, John, what a beautiful and touching tribute! I laughed and cried at the same time as memories would hit me. This was indeed a good cry. You're so wonderful to do such a splendid job, and the music was so perfect. Regardless of whether The Way was "right" or "wrong," God was surely there! I know He was for me.
