We Remember.....a slideshow by John R. from John R on Vimeo.

In my experience, many of our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep were never given the honor and recognition they deserved. For reasons I won't go into here, I did not allow my grieving process to happen for some of my departed friends. This is my attempt at bringing such honor to our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep. Here are some of them whose pictures I have. May they be recognized and respected for the good they have done. This was difficult to make and and I shed many tears thinking of some of these wonderful people. I am aware it is sad and am sorry that it may affect you so. But I feel better knowing they have been given a chance to be acknowledged. I am sure their families would agree. This is a work in progress as I get more pictures. Send some if you have them.

  • There are many listed on this page that were some of my dearest and close friends. Those and all listed I shall always remember what wonder filled men and women of God they truly were. The lives they touched and changed by the Word Of God they shared, and the songs they sang.

One glorious day we shall all be together again praising God and His Son Jesus Christ in our heavenly home
Until then so long my brothers and sisters in Christ. See you later if not sooner,
    Your Brother In Christ
    Ted
  • I creid as I watched this... I also had to repent years ago of the wrong attitude I also had about people dying. YHWH has forgiven me and HE will forgive us if we repent of our wrong attitudes.

I worked on grounds my first year in Emporia in the 7th Corps with Ken Barden I liked him. He made me laugh. I was so sad when he died and so sad for his wife.

Thank you John for such a wonderful tribute to these people
  • John; this took my breath awy
  • Thanks John. Time is so valuable. Only one day to live for God and His Word @ a time. I appreciate seeing all these wonderful believers.
  • Good point Vickie.

I am the one who snapped that picture of our Steve Tulley that afternoon at a tumultous Rock of Ages....if forget the year....90something I forget. It would be the last Rock of Ages we would be at and the last time we would ever see each other. From what I understand he died in a fall at work at Home Depot. That was a tragic loss.

I am sure there are many other great pictures of Steve but this one is most meaningful to me because we had just "agreed to disagree" on certain issues confronting many of us that week. But we decided to remain friends in spite of it all. Hence the smile. I miss him. Good man.
  • Makes me think - Steve Tully was just grinning for the camera; it was a momentary thing, and he went on with his day, and probably forgot about it. He had no idea that he would so soon be gone, and that this one moment in his life would the moment that so many of us use to remember him. Same for the rest of them! How many times has someone snapped a random picture of you? I hope that we all seize this day, to live it to our fullest. Love you, Vickie.
