About Me
I'm generally comfortable in my own skin these days, normally happy; have been in a great marriage for a long time to a man who loves me like Christ does the church, or so it seems.
I'm wonderfully imperfect; no longer religious...which is great freedom since truth makes one free... religion is massively imprisoning - but ya gotta learn somehow and I'm blessed to have understanding.
I'm thankful to see how God has ordered my steps in life and I see His plan, even if through a glass darkly. God seems very much more versatile and knowing to me now.
I like reality; openness... I dislike judgmentality and find ego (as in puffed up and self-protective) to be fear-based and void of love. I understand that God knows and loves us JUST "as we is". It is good to live that way, nothing to hide from God. Nothing to DO that earns any more favor with God than I/we have already. Then giving can come from the heart because there is nothing to gain, nothing to attain, no status or importance or special favor. We've got it all; it was a free gift.
Well, that's about me.
My Interests
Living life with God in Christ. My husband, my godson. Eternity. Conversation. Relationship. Rapport. I like to write; help others when inspired, photos. Understanding. Friendship; sweet times with family & friends. I'm interested in overcoming my interest in shopping...and it wouldn't kill me to spend less time on the internet :)
Employment or Career
God led the way to and blessed this staffing agency for which my title is President. We're at: www.klinedevelopmental.com
Music I Like
Five for Fighting, Rascall Flatts, Alison Kraus, Sting, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, some older stuff like Gerry Rafferty, Dire Straights... Toto's "Africa"...music that moves me or makes me want to dance. Some classical is great, some guitar. Not huge into music though.
Books I Like
The Bible, of course. Its the deepest, most multifaceted, living, layered, powerful book ever written.
Nonfiction. Biographies. I don't read fiction. I love the open book of the heart.
Television I like
Game Of Thrones.Lots of Christian television; Jone's Table Talk, Creflo, Andrew Wommack, these are favorites of mine. Desperate Housewives...loved old Star Trek.
Biographies, recent history.
Movies I like
"Good Will Hunting"; "Fried Green Tomatoes"... "redemption movies" do it for me, or movies like "Braveheart" that show how someone made a historical difference. "Something the Lord Made" was very good, of what God can do in the secular work realm. "Star Trek" Movies; sci-fi.
"Breach" was very unexpectedly good this year and I'd say it was the best of the year. "Bobby" was also VERY good, a step back in time. "My Life Without Me" was Oscar-worthy. "Away from Her' very good too. "Atonement" better than "No Country for Old Men", which I did not like.
Sports Teams I like
None in particular

I have recently returned to Australia after living in New Zealand for about 13 years. The climate here in Brisbane suits me much better - fairly hot most of the year round with dramatic seasonal thunder storms, complete with plenty of lightening, thunder and heavy rain. Then when the rain stops the sun comes out again and the skies stay blue for days and weeks on end. I love it!
However, I wasn't born here. I was born in Mombasa which is an old town on the coast of Kenya. But I lived in Brisbane from the age of nine until twenty when I took PFAL and went WOW in Sydney before going in residence.
These days I am homeschooling my two sons - aged 13 and 10. So my life is fairly topsy-turvey! Education is a major interest and concern of mine. I am very, very glad to have the opportunity to have some input into my children's education (we just finished reading Animal Farm!) and it means I get to learn things I missed before and gain a better understanding of things I only partly understood!
God continues to give specific direction, broaden my expectations and lighten my load daily. He’s always ready to pick me up and put me back in the right place when I get distracted. Life is great!
Anyway, please come and visit anytime. It's a long way to travel, but you will not be disappointed. :-)
Love,
Sarah
I can't remember you very well from when I was in residence, but I'm glad I have found you now! You seem to be doing a great deal of good for a lot of people. For me today, reading your comments (on this site and on your website) has been an expected comfort and delight. If I could "visit with you", I would, but I think I may have to wait ''til that one fine day...!
God bless you,
Sarah

I live in TN, but was born in good ole England, when I left HQ and way productions in 1981 we (my wife at the time) moved to Tennessee because as I travelled with Ted Ferrel and way P. I fell in love with TN. It is a wonderful and beautiful state. God luv ya both...David

Good to see your beautiful, smiling face and to read about your life. I feel like most of the relationships I had in the Corps were so shallow...maybe that had something to do with my own shallowness :-) So young and sooooo much to learn! I have been and hopefully will continue all of my days to be on a quest to know God more intimately, experience deliverance on all levels and be happy. Understanding more and more that life is not a destination to "get to" but truly a journey to grow and learn and love greatly in. Good to hear from you :-) Love, Regina
