What a treat to connect after so long. Judy and I are still enjoying life in New Hampshire. I often wonder about your parents as I know when they left Nashua they moved just north of where we are now.

Thanks for the note. It has been so long since Judy and I have been connected with so many of the Corps, (20 years), it will take me a while to adjust to re-connecting with folks. Interesting how over the years you can build up an entire…"

  • Dear David,

God bless you! I didn't know you were still in NH. Ann and I are doing fine raising 3 kids, still doing windows with Ron, and running a Twig.

    Love in Christ,
    Bob
  • Hi David - Interested to see that you are in the Concord NH area. I grew up in New England. My sister Lucia (Kittredge) lives in Hopkinton, NH, and her husband Cleve Kapala works in Concord. I know it's a long shot -- but I expect you guys might know some of the same people.

You were my "elder corps" and I had great respect for all of you. Glad to hear you are doing well!

    Blessings,

    Emily
  • Hello David,
Good to see you on this site and to hear how much God is blessing you and your family.
The last time I remember seeing you was back in 1987 or 88 (?) when I was invited to teach at a WOW families Twig. It was quite a night....
My wife Jane (Kiennholz) and I settled in Northwest Arkansas where we live on five acres. We like it here and will most likely remain unless otherwise inspired to move.
It's good to read how community minded you are in your eemployment and activities. I believe this is most needed in our society today - believers that are out doing the truth in their everyday lives rather than only teaching or preaching about it.

Again it is so good to see you and Jane sends her love and regards also.

  • Dave, I made it. I must not have filled out the profile properly the first time. And I wrote to Judy. I've been on here for hours (on and off, more on than off, unfortunately for all the other things I had to do). Thanks for connecting me. Hope I see you soon--I'm planning to be at Writers' Day, but that's not all that soon. Maybe around Pillsbury Street...
  • Hey David! I just realized that most of the people I correspond with on this site are 9th Corps! I love you guys! I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you. It looks like the Patriots are in the running again this year so I know you will either be at the game or watching it this weekend! Where is your Mom in Calif? My mother is at St Regis Retirement Center in Hayward CA. She will be 92 on 4/23! Her memory is failing her as well. Danielle and I plan to visit her for her birthday. Joanna and I went last year. I can't believe you and Judy went to Ogunquit and it was your favorite trip! It was mine too -- as that is where Steve and I spent our honeymoon!!!! Although it has been 7 years since he left, "I stop and often think about him -- in my life I've loved him more." That's a line from the Beatles "My Life" -- which just about says it all. I am JUST BEGINNING to enjoy being single (at 56), but nothing can compare to my relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ, and the comfort, joy and peace it brings me. I wouldn't change it for the world or anything in it. Well, here's the famous NH question: Is there's lots of snow already? I sure miss you! Our babies aren't babies anymore! Joanna (22) is about to graduate from Wilmington University with a BS in Behavioral Science and already has a full time job at the Delaware State Psychiatric Center. Danielle (20) is a junior at the University of Delaware and lives in an apartment off campus there with a friend. Both girls are doing great -- praise GOD. Hope to "talk" with you soon (phone or e-mail) -- Please give Judy a hug and kiss for me! Love, rita
  • Just wanted to see how long it takes you to see this message and send one back. Ha Ha. Don't you just love my crazy picture? Bunches of love. Judy
  • David...
just to see your face, which still holds that great look, threw me back to years (days?)ago.

Glad to see how amazingly you took your values, hopes and dreams and made them reality.

Drop me a line when you get a chance, and love to Judith.

Happy New Year and all that is best,
    hope.
  • Interestingly enough, it was after that wow year when I met Judy, that I decided (or God put it on my heart) to marry a younger man. I had taken the time to ask Judy, when she was in Keene, why she would want to marry someone her junior.

When I first or (second-or so)lol, met Mike I found out that he was younger than me, and he told me that he had always wanted to marry an older woman. For that reason and many others, to us, it was God putting us together. He's about 5 yrs my junior.

I was surprised that you've turned 50. You seemed a lot younger than that to me. Mike just turned 50 Sunday.

    Love,

    Marsha
  • David, thanks so much for the leads on Don & Carol and Alexis. Hopefully I'll be able to track them down with what you gave me!

    Happy New Year!
  • God bless and a joyful ho-ho to the Snyder's!

You're such quality people, I'm glad you are all well.

Did you ever run into Jack Mudge? He's a PFAL grad, too!

Beth and I are here for two years and teaching His word.

It is living and triumphing, gloriously, II Thess 2;1-5

Much love to you and your family, in Christ,

    Charles
