About Me

Married Linda Smith (13th Corps) in 1987, Three boys: (Josiah (989), Cody (1990), Samuel (1993)) and one needy boxer, Holly. We Live one town over from where I grew up. Cody is an Army Captain at Walter Reed in Bethesda, MD as a Nurse Anesthetist, Sam is an E6 with the DOD assigned to the VT Nat Guard and is employed as a Chief Security Officer for a Raytheon plant in Maine. Josiah is a free spirit who loves the Lord plays a mean guitar and is a licensed optician. I was a partner in a Window Cleaning business with Arne Yaghsizian (WC14)until Arne recently went to be wih the Lord (March 2012). Now I carry on the tradition of excellence by myself. Linda has become a Respiratory Therapist. She worked hard for two + years in accomplishing this, all while working part-time and managing the household. You gotta love her. The Lord has given her much grace in this area. She now has a job at the hospital where she was a medical secretary and is very excited about this new place in her life. David earned a AS in Computer Information Systems in 2011 and graduated at the top of the class in the large Community College maintaining a 4.0/4.0 average throughout the course study. He is a member of Phi Theta Kappa as works part-time for himself producing websites and assisting residential customers with their home computing needs. Since being married in '87 we have lived in Orlando & Hollywood, FL, Buffalo, NY Area and then to CT where we have been for 30 years. David has been on numerous mission trips over the years to Romania, Israel, Kenya, and Haiti where we have assisted the locals in building schools, churches & children's homes. This besides seeing many miracles and healings while ministering the Gospel. The Kenyans have said they would build a home for us to retire in if we choose. Not a bad place to put down some roots. This in 2010 year Linda went to Uganda with a medical missions team, it was a fantastic time and the team saw a 1,000 people in 5 days. She has also been to Haiti with our middle son, Cody and I.

My Interests

Walking, Hiking and Outdoor stuff like splitting wood for the stove(go figure). Computer Stuff, Playing Music with BORG (Beings of Radiant Glory), World Champion Red Sox Baseball. Fixing Broken Things, Gardening, Bike Riding with someone special.

We really enjoy Morningstar Ministries, Don Potter, Third Day and anything with punch, Celtic Worship, and of course BORG (Beings of Radiant Glory), Jami Smith, Casting Crowns, Parachute Band, etc.

What Else but the Good Book. The New Mystics by John Crowder, When Heaven Invades Earth by Bill Johnson. Shock and Surprise:Beyond the Rapture by Gary T. Whipple. What about Dale Sides Books?

Acorn TV, Prime

Braveheart, The Patriot, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, or any great drama...

Belinda...Hi and God Bless. The way to access the 14th C Prayer Book is to go to our main page. Scroll down until you "made with Smile box". Under that is a paragraph, in which David gives instructions how to access...basically, CLICK on the "blue words" which say something like prayer book... It will be a pdf of 34-36 pages depending on your computer. Hope this helps. Have fun going down memory lane. <3 :-)

I have been unable to access the prayer book, but I do have typed lists of the 14th and 16th Corps. Hard to believe we graduated 25 years ago; even harder to believe I turn 60 next month!

With the passing of time and sites like this, I have found it easier to forgive the wrong and remember the good, and there was a lot of it.

Hey Guys (you too Linda), would have got back sooner but got busy, summer came and the Air conditioners went. I'm on the down hill side of this deployment so will be home in a month+. Little guy headed for the Uncle Sam's Misguided Children? Actually that is a great officer corps. I've dealt with a few Marine O gangers and and found them to be sharp and caring of their troops. I was Looking at your Music interests the "punch" thing caught my Eye. Toby Mac has an awesome album out "tonight" is the name. He was the lead for DC Talk back in the 90's His side man is the front man for the Newsboys now another not so quiet group. A well we are waiting for a ride out of the place we are the weather has most all flghts cancelled.
I just Missed you Guys the other day online you were signing out as I was getting on.

It is such a privledge to be able to pray for each other and see Gods hand of deliverence in so many situations. You guys have been busy moving the word , and that is what weve been called to do. Fabulous testimony on the Blog for Dr. Wierwille. I wanted to let you know I sang : "Me and God" on Mother's Day for our Sunday fellowship. Jeanie Lindfelt was teaching. She kept reitering parts of the words in her teaching. (She had never heard the song before). Your post on the Corps Site inspired me to learn it. Have a Blessed Day. God is Awesome. Ps. 47:2. Tell Linda, to post her saddle on Craigslist, (just like I need to do), as I am sure our saddles are "out of date" and I promise that there are new cushy, comfy english saddles out there now, that are not expensive for when she is ready to ride again. Gone are the days of our saddles from 1976. Also, she may find as I did that Western is much easier and pleasurable at our age. English is work; but I still feel the passion when I get up there and attempt the whole jumping thing. I just inherited Natalie's horse for the summer while she works an internship in NOWHERE TX at a QH breeding farm. Pat Lynn is my riding buddy; if you can believe that! She loves riding English and Loves Natalie's jumping Thoroughbred, so she will get that pleasure. I was just given a really nice slow Western Pleasure Horse by one of Natalie's friends at College. Oh, he is a dream......slow, slow, slow, and such a sweet pet. I got so lucky-blessed with this gift. Tell Linda, that the expense is not the horse, but the upkeep......so Be prepared!
