  • I'll talk with ya later. Send me an email about your house.
  • LOL!!! The ministry never acknowledged it either. I was never in the click like the rest of the musicians. Did you listen to Victoria's Secret LOL!!! Very tongue in cheek kind of song.

There is a very remote chance. By remote meaning I won't know for a few weeks. But I might be able to set you up a to stay while you are here. That could reduce your expenses to travel money.
  • My kids are going to college and working in San Antonio about 20 miles from me. Its great to have them nearby. The oldest is not to far from graduating. I think another year. The other one just started this semester.

I've been living for six months on 200 acres about 10 miles north of SA between 281 and I-10 for the express purpose of helping an 81 yr old man. He's now in the hospital because he did not listen to his daughter, doctors and me tell him to walk every day.

Dallas is a busy place. In light of the tornadoes they must deal with, I would rather be here in the hill country. No hurricanes, tornadoes just an occasional drought. Winters as you know are very tolerable. The last few years, spring time has lasted about two weeks. This year it seems to be dragging on for a few more weeks. In another month, we'll be able to enjoy hitting the rivers to innertube down them in 95 degree weather.

Hey!!! You and your husband should try to come down for a few days this summer. We have Schlitterbaum just down the road. (the #1 waterpark in the world). Your son will never forget the adventure. It is as close to paradise as you can get. You'll remember why you enjoyed San Antonio so much.
  • Thanks for responding. Your memory is very kind.

I went to New Orleans after graduation. From there, as the ministry fell apart, I went to Georgia. My wife was pregnant with 2nd kid and we decided to be closer to her family and we moved to Michigan. Doctors found the tumor a few days before we went to the hospital to deliver #2 son. A week after they came home, I went into surgery. It was all very exciting. After two years in Michigan, I couldn't wait to see Texas again. We requested an assignment in Corpus Christi and got it. After about 8 years there, we moved to SA. I love it here. No tornadoes, no hurricanes and no significant winter. Drought is about the only concern here. But this year we are back to plenty of rain and lots of greenery and flowers fill the landscapes. I'm actually living north of SA right now. Texas has the best economy in the country right now. Load up your family and come on back....before they require passports to get into Texas. Bill Miller Tea is still the best!!! And Whataburger is still a good diet center.
  • It's great to see you in here. You were such a delight in residence. I would often see you in classes or Corps night and think of what a sweet lady you were. I admired your heart. Sorry, if I never told you. I admired your ability to get to the heart of things when you did share. Most of all I remembered you having a passionate love for God.
