Wow, you remember a lot! I only remember the merce and gracey part. I can't imagine I was ever that wise. Most people don't know the power of merce and gracey. I take no credit for speaking to you in Swensen's. I was on an ice-cream high.…"

  • Thanks, Marilyn. It is so good to hear that these Bible Bits, Notes on the Book of Acts are meaningful to you. Yes, I am thinking about setting up a web site to make them widely available. Meanwhile, if X-Wayers would like to recieve them, all they have to do is let me know and I'll be happy to send them a sample. God Bless you guys! Sue.
  • Bryce & Marilyn...nice to hear from you...been long time, but always appreciated the quality you brought to our comrades...on dogs...they're great companions, always there, always loving unconditionally, and ready to do anything, go anywhere with you...this little girl was only 8, but lived life to its fullest to the last morning...if you have experienced that kind of love and dedication, words fall short of describing it.

    Marilyn,
It is truly amazing the effect that we can have and have had on people's lives. You shared with me things that I use in my everyday life and ministry. Here's one: "You should still stand on God's word even if Dr. Wierwille doesn't stand." Here's another regarding this girl I was about to let move in with me. "Have you invited her to fellowship?" Here's another: "The only reason we are still on this earth is to witness to others." I will never forget the time you were praying and you thanked God for His "Merce and Gracey" (instead of Grace and Mercy) and you fell out of your chair laughing. I was soooo shocked, because I was soooo religious at that time. Your boldness with God's Word and love for God's people (me and those of us in your and Bryce's fellowship) has been a constant reminder through all of these 35 years. You will be rewarded throughout all eternity for what you did for me. I have been and will continue to be grateful all of my life for the help you gave me. The life you saved that evening in that Swenson's Ice Cream parlor in Palo alto - was mine! Thank you!

p.s. I also thought you were really "hot" and I was sorry to find out that you were married to the guy (Bryce) who drove the motorcycle you were riding on the back of.
p.s.s. On the other motorcycle riding in behind you and Bryce were Richard Zolezzi and Cathy...
p.s.s.s. I still think you are "hot", but now that I have been happily married for 26 years to Evelyn it doesn't matter.
p.s.s.s.s. I've told the story about how we met and you led me to my hearts desire to learn God's Word and operate manifestations at least 1000 times over these 35 years. Please don't forget the powerful impact of your life then and now...one solitary life...
  • Dear Marilyn,
I will always be thankful for the day you came up to me in a Swenson's Ice Cream parlor in Palo Alto, CA. Because of that day, many people are alive today. OK, I guess some wish they were dead, but what can I do about that?

    I love you,
    Garland
  • Dear Bryce and Marilyn:

I was in the Corps with You guys, but my fondest memory if In-residence is that I never once had to do set-up, never had to string a chair. I always thought that was going over board. today we would have to use lasers. Many buildings would have to be retrofitted so the chairs would line up. I forgot my name since I don't have a name tag, but I think its Mike Prahm. Still married to the lovely Rita Noriega, 8th. We have three children; Brian,25 married in N. Ireland with a daughter, Gracie, our little grandchild, Alana,23 lives in D.C. and works for an international public relations firm, which sounds so much better, than she works for her uncle, and laura, 19 a nursing student. We live in Wichita, kansas. We too have a dog, Barley, a golden retriever, who just wants to be loved. He is the exception to the old blonde joke; "What do you call a smart blodnde? A golden retriever"
Always thankful for your assistance on my research paper. And though time has passed, my hairs are gray, most body parts are still intact, it is one of the many things I enjoyed about my time at Emporia, thanks,

    Mike Prahm
  • Wow, I can't believe I hadn't written since right after Wally got hurt. He's mostly better - still has one rib that bothers him though. Have you ever heard of a product called Body Balance? It's fantastic. It's aloe vera & nine sea vegetables (minerals, vitamins, amino acids, phytonutrients). After 5 weeks my cholesterol dropped 63 points. I have more energy, sleep better, am calmer, etc. I was so blown away that I signed up to get the products at wholesale. Let me know if you're interested. Love ya!
  • Hi Bryce and Marilyn: Great to see the pictures of your beautiful family -I remember when Bobby was born. Wow - long time ago. Always enjoyed your fellowship and see that you still have that wonderful sense of humor.
  • Hey, I also missed your comments this summer before coming out that way. Nonetheless the trip was fine. I had never been to Irvine before. Actually today did some business with someone in Irvine. (remotely) and you did come to mind. Not sure if will get back that way or not, will see.
  • Wow, I just now saw your comments from the summer. So sorry! I don't know how I missed them. We only had three hours extra time when we visited the castle in August. Had I seen your email before I left, maybe we could have worked something out. Darn it anyway! We had an incredible time at the castle - swam in the outdoor poor after the tours were finished. We stayed at the Hearst family ranch below with all the original furniture from the early 1900's and where presidents have stayed. It was the greatest vacation I've ever had. God bless you! Let's stay in touch - I feel bad that I dropped the ball.
  • thank you, got it !!!!
