Take care and send me a email you bum! LOVE, S.
Take care.
Your right about singing together in an impromptu (sp?) quartet we put together while we were at Gunnisson. I had forgotton all about that episode in my life. Thanks for helping to bring back the good memory.
If I am not mistaken I think we actually sang at some of the Sunday Services and a few other events when local believers came in for a day.
Now that I recall all this, I remember one time we sang and the believers that were visting thought we were the "Victors." LOL!
I think one of us told then we were not the "Victors" but the "Victims." LOL!
I like the pictures of the farm on your site. My wife Jane (Kienholz 9th Corps) and I do not have that big of a place. Just five acres, chickens, a few steers, two goats, a dog and two cats. We sell fresh eggs, fresh produce and some organic growing products in our Green Pastures Store.
We began organic gardening a few years ago and now it seems to be expanding each year to organic farming.
After we left the Way in April of 1987 Jane and I moved to Arkansas where we spent quite a few years in "recovery"and healing up some wounds. We were never keen on getting invovled in any churches or any of the many offshoots from the Way, however we did pursue an intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and after a few years we seemed to have pressed into that relatioinship and discovered that the Word did not take the place of the absent Christ. He never has been absent from the affairs of men but He is alive and well. I won't go off preaching now.
We are very thankful for the many good relationships and friends we made during the years of our Way life and especially now being able to reconnect to those we spent so much time and experiences with in the 70' and 80's.
I am happy that you made contact and trust we will remain so in the future.
I do not visit this site but once every few weeks and thus far it has always been a blessing.
Stay well and in touch,
Frank
Yes, alphabetical seating, where is Nancy?! Remember sometimes we were in the middle of the front section and sometimes we were on an end? What was that? I always loved it when I got behind a pole because no one up front could see me drawing or sleeping! ;)
The other day I was getting some tables ready for a science fair and eyeballed the chairs for set up. After all these years I do not need a string to get them straight... little blessings, hah!
Love you and please keep in touch, my brother. Karen :)
