We lost internet most of the holidays because of ice storms. IT messes our satellite up.y address is:
P.O Box 86
Warsaw, Il 62379
We live in a different town now but still pick up our mail at the post office.
How are we doing- well, I feel that I've rounded a bend. THe first few months I was numb. I also lost my father in October and we lost our beloved Labrodor during the flood stuff. IT's a master's degree course in patience! Dealing with FEMA has been very challenging. We have a atrouble shooter who has been working many hours. BOb has also worked hours with insurance and the COrps of Engineers- getting them to do something. We lost 38 levees in Iowas and Illinois and so far only three have been fixed.
We are renting a nice place. Our home was destroyed. It was a farm house that had originally been built in the 1800's. IT had been remodeled in the 1960's, then again after the 1993 flood. Bob built on a master bedroom, bath, walk in closet over a basement office and storage room and a computer room and wrap around porch. It was quite nice. We raised the kids there. Our nearest neighbors were a mile and two miles away. We had flood insurance but of course never enough. We haven't decided what to do yet- are waitng to see what happens with the levees. Our farm lands are okay- we just lost a good crop when prics were higher than they have ever been. Oh well...
THe place that we are staying overlooks the Mississippi River but sits up on a bluff. THe outside is steel sided but the inside is all knotty pine logs- beautiful! We like it and got to experience the holidays here so it sort of felt like home. We sure miss the farm though. I would love to see some pictures. I'll send you some also. I have two sons and a daughter. Robbie is 19, Ryan is 17 and Lauren just turned 15.

Well, my family is doing great but this has been a challenging year. CHeck out dearproject.com That is a web site that BOb started after the flood. Go to links, go to the bottom of the page and you should be able to get a link to KHQA- our local television station interviewing our family. We are still unsure what to do. We have rented a house for a year. Send me your address and I will send you Robbie's graduation picture.

My other kids are doing well. Ryan is 16, almost 17. He and RObbie and Bob are all black belts in Tang So Do martial arts. HE also plays football in high school. He's a math kid- loves math. HE is going towards engineering and is already looking at colleges. Lauren is 14, will be 15 after CHristmas. SHe's a freshman in highschool. SHe's almost 5'10 and is into basketball. SHe was into dance since four years old but turned jock on me last year. She's a blonde and she and Robbielook like Bob. Ryan looks like my side of the family so of course he's the best looking in the family! How's Micheal?
Hi Maria,
e are having problems with this site on our computer. What college is Lawrence going to? WHat is he studying? RObbie has wanted to farm since we moved here when he was four years old. HE is taking farm production and management at a local college. HE is going to school and working 35 hours a week this semester at his internship so he's very busy. His personality is the same as when he was a baby- he's very sweet! What about Lawrence? How is Michael?
Hi Maria,
