Hi, Dave...don't know if you remember me or not, but I was in the 13th Corps, and I have fond memories of you doing Christian Communications with us. About a decade ago, my friend, Ginny of the 11th Corps, and I went to see Lou Vuto (13th) who is is now a great Elvis tribute artist in Pigeon Forge, TN and he did a PERFECT rendition of you telling the incident about kicking down the door to your prom....he had us laughing so hard we were crying (had his young son and daughter wondering what Dad was up to). All three of us have kind, wonderful memories of you and are thankful you were part of our lives.
Dave, Thank you for the kind words. And thank you for teaching me more than my communications professors about how to reach others with the spoken Word.
Hey Dave, I don't want to overwhelm you when you just joined but there's something else I wanted to tell you. My husband says that your sister Shirley is THE reason he got through the PFAL class!!! She picked him up and MADE him go every time! If you knew my husband, you'd understand how incredible that he is but she must have worked very hard to make that happen! HA! Many thanks to Shirley from David and myself!
Hello David, nice to see you here on The Way Corps site. This is Mike writing but I will for certain tell Lisa that you have joined. She will surely say hello!
Hello David. Welcome to the Way Corps Site! It has been a lot of fun for many of us, even if only visiting once in a while. There are now almost 1,600 members. It is a good format for staying in touch and remembering some of our times in The Way Corps as this photo might illustrate.
You will find a cross section of many people from many different Corps groups ranging from Way Corps 1 to Way Corps 40. There is a search feature here that will allow you to find people easily. We have a lot of fun content to look over from or varied past.
Here is an instructional video made by NING which gives you plenty of tips on using this site as a new member. CLICK HERE FOR THE VIDEO
Here is a welcome letter I wrote when I started this site some 4 1/2 years ago.
Let me know if I can help you with anything or answer any questions.I hope you enjoy this corner of the Internet.
