  • Hi Susan,
It is so good to see you and hear from you. It has been a long time when we were so used to getting together every year to what it is now. It brings back good memories for me when I see all of the people I knew on this site.
I'm glad to see you are happily married with a beautiful daughter.
    Let's keep in touch.
    God Bless

  • Hi Susan,
Todd graduated from the 13th Corps.
    Blessings to you,
    Vicki
  • Hey, Susan -- so good to hear from you! And, that dear, dear Kathy Mathieson has done so much for my life as well -- please give her my love. We actually get down that way every now and then. If we get down there, I'd love to see all of you again. May God bless you and yours richly!!

  • Susan, haven't seen it yet. Will have to check it out. And get back to you on it.
Hope your autumn is awesome! Although the spring/summer here seemed incredibly short, with leaves not fully out till late June, the autumn has been gorgeous, even with 6 inches of snow a week and a half ago.

  • Hi Susan. Sure has been a long time. You look like you are doing well. God sure has blessed us. It is great to be able to get back in touch with people. Just the initial browsing sure brings back a lot of memories and emotions. Take care.

  • Hey Susan. Welcome back home and Isn't vacation time just lovely? There with you on the time spent thing - Rick works eves and nights; I work days; if I didn't work at home we'd see each other once a week. At least we can bump into each other in the house for a couple hours a day.
Have you read about the possible Corps reunion? check out home page. I think it's a grand idea!

  • Hey Susan, it's David Hanson from the 11th Corps and yes, I do remember you from those days! How have you been? I read that you are down in Delaware with my pal, Kathy Mathieson -- that must be great! I am married with four beautiful children as God has been gracious to us...

Have an awesome day and I'll try to get some pictures up on this site. Please give Bob and Kathy my love.

Take care and I'll talk to you soon! I love you!

  • Hey Sue. It's a blessing to fellowship with you around the Word of God. I believe it is God's will for us to move above and beyond what we are taught (spoon fed) to feed ourselves ("be diligent to show yourself a workman"), challenge anything we are taught with God's word (to see if "those things are so"), and dare to think that God our Father can reveal wonderful things to each of His children individually ("seek and you will find"). We're either learning and growing or rotting on the vine. All dead religions are built on the remains of some great figure by followers who will not: 1) venture to build beyond the foundation laid by the one who went before, as long as we do not build beyond the foundation of Christ Jesus, and 2) examine that foundation for breaches that need to be repaired or sections that need to be replaced.
Please feel free to challenge anything I write about, because I need to learn and fill in the gaps too. - Gary
  • Hi Susan,

WOW....how fun to reconnect. Is that your daughter? What a beauty. A whole life since our "past" life, it seems. Where does time go?

Where do you live now? Tell me what God's done in your life.
    Thanks for writing!
    God bless,
    Deb
  • Susan, great pictures! I still haven't gotten to loading anything. I need to do it for this space, myspace and facebook!
Congrats on your 10th. That's a great milestone. But then, I think every year is a milestone in this culture. I don't know how people stay together without a strong faith.

Have a great vacation and say hi to Gloria for Rick and me. Long ago, her and her ex lived in Montana....

I went to church at the Rescue Mission last night. They do a service every evening. I loved it. I guess I'm going back. I find that all interesting!
The preacher was an older guy who taught on body, soul and spirit! A Cowboy Church preacher. He was great.
okay, later. thanks for touching base.
    Phyllis
